DeleteGood morning Recovering, Recuperating, Rejuvenating Valerie: The snowman looks exactly like the kind I used to build with my daughter when she was just a little girl. Then, in turn, she built them with her children, who have long since passed that stage, so I suppose the next step in the succession will be when they have children of their own who want a snowman. Perhaps we can use a snowman as an indicator of the progression of human existence and endeavour! The festive scenes from last year look quite lovely. No doubt it is more subdued this winter under the influence of COVID, but who knows what next year will bring when we have all been vaccinated and are free to roam at will? Well, that's the dream anyway. I hope that all is going well in the clinic and that you are eating and sleeping well. Maybe a new padded version of Valerie will emerge! Until tomorrow, I remain, Your Regal Valerieness, your friendly bird nerd, David
ReplyDeletePlease don't use words like padded....the good here is too good and too much, I will skip my evening meal today!snowmen and scarecrows are things that don't change. My daughter loved making snowmen as her kids did, too. And my dogs and cats all loved snow! Are you off for more bird walks this week? Have fun! Take good care of yourself, hugs to you both!
DeleteNothing organized, Valerie, but there is no doubt that I will be out and about with my feathered friends. Might even take a picture or two and blog about it.
DeleteYes, take lots of photos! Have fun!
DeleteThat's a fabulous collection of Christmas shopping photos! I hope we can all go back to that kind of experience at least by next December. It's looking worse and worse here.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well by now.

DeleteThank you so much for the reminder of my first ever German Christmas Market. I will never forget what a wonderful time we had there and how much I fell in love with your city. I remember too, the gorgeous shops as we walked to the market in the Old Town. Oh how I wish I could go back, just once would satisfy me. Do they still have that revolving tree in the shopping mall? Oh, Germany IS Christmas for me.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
Glad you liked the pics. Last year they had a revolving tree, I didn't look this time! Everything is a bit reduce this year because of Covid.
DeleteYour snowman is adorable and I love seeing all the shops in Christmas mode!!! Wow! Big Hugs!
