Hi Everybody!
Have a wonderful weekend, stay safe!
Just a quick post, my fingers are very painful again.
I made an A3 mixed media page featuring Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo:
Today' sunrise was wonderful. When I woke up the crescent moon and Venus were visible:
You can see the shadow of the full moon:
All that and cappuccino as well - wonderful!
Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Beautiful as always Valerie. I sure hope your fingers feel better soon. Have a fantastic weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha, much appreciated! Stay safe!
DeleteLovely art and photos Valerie, so sorry about your fingers. Keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine! I will continue moaning!
DeleteSorry to hear about your finger Valerie. I love your stars creation. It is a great tribute to 2 masters. I like the little stars you added, so like the Venus in your photos. It was a beautiful sunrise for you. We had clouds and rain so it couldn't be seen here. But it does look great. Hope the fingers improve and your weekend is nice. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika, have a wonderful weekend, take care!
DeleteSorry to hear about your fingers Valerie, I hope they improve soon. I like your mixed media page, and the views of the sunrise and plane activity. Keep safe.

DeleteHi Val, good morning! Sorry to hear about your fingers. Are you back on the medication now? I hope it helps and you soon have less pain. Get plenty of rest, and look after yourself. Love the new art piece, and it fits to your theme today. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, yes I have to take huge amounts of cortisone again, not nice, but I have to get through it somehow. Have a lovely day, hugs to all!

Thanks Mae. The moon and stars are always fascinating. Have a good and safe weekend!
DeleteWow! Super shots of the moon and Morning Star, Venus. Glorious. Also, the fantastic detail on that plane; are you near an airport, or is it a good zoom on your camera?
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
Thanks. We are near the Airport here but I zoomed the plane in!
DeleteGood morning Valerie: If I had a magic wand I would wave it and banish the pain from your fingers. I would make them lithe and supple again, it pains me that you have no one to take care of you and help out with simple tasks, make you a cup of coffee, a sandwich for lunch. Even cutting through the bread and its contents must be a painful chore. I would imagine that using the keyboard requires steeling yourself too. Yesterday, we met up with Heather and Lily for our regular Friday walk, and Lily, who is by now getting to know us and recognize our voices, kicked her little legs and waved her arms, and made all manner of happy sounds when she saw us. It just melts your heart. And I haven't had that reaction from a girl in a long time! Within a couple of months we can perhaps let her hand feed her first bird, if we can just get her to keep it still, that is! It's very obvious that she notices them now, and if a brightly coloured bird like a Northern Cardinal or a Blue Jay flashes in front of her she really follows it. To watch the development in this little treasure is remarkable. The ever petulant Trump has still not conceded to Biden, but soon he will have no choice but to leave the White House. In chains would be good, but that's probably too much to expect. Maybe soon he will be wearing a nice orange jumpsuit to match his crinkled complexion. Ah, the stuff of dreams! Stay safe, Valerie. Hugs and kisses. David
ReplyDeleteHi David, sorry you haven't got a magic wand, I haven't either! So we'll have to see if the cortisone works it's magic! Glad Lily knows you now, and that you are both happy to see each other. Enjoy the magical moments of making a gorgeous girl happy! It's lovely to watch the development of children, they grow and learn so quickly. Trump is such an asshole, how much longer does he want to pretend and prevent Biden from getting on with the job!? He's such a bad loser. One of those jumpsuits would surely suit him. Have a great weekend, stay safe, take care. Hugs to you both!
