Hi Everybody!
Today I am showing faces which I put onto tags in the past few years. I am linking to Nicole's FFO and Gillena's AFF.
This is a distant cousin of my Mother, Erika. I met her as an od lady when I was working in an old people's home here in Düssedorf:
And another visit to the past - my mum and her Uncle Benny with his wife at their wedding:
Sorry, not much talk-talk, my internet is very bad today so I want to get this posted before it get's worse!
Have a great Thursday / Friday, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!
Hi Val, what gorgeous photos and tags you have showed us today, fabulous. Love the beautiful header with your family, too. I hope you have had a good weekend. I enjoyed being on my on for a change, but am looking forward to when they all come home this evening! Hugs, Sarah

DeleteLovely tag faces and wonderful family photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteI like the add-ons such as feathers. Unique. I also like the vintage clothing your ancestors wore. Sometimes, they look better than the contemporary clothing we often see in the U.S.
ReplyDeletePeople used to wear such stylish clothes, today is often very different!
DeleteSuch beautiful tags! Loving the fab four and the faces on fabric with the ribbon hair are gorgeous - love them 😊. Happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jo! Hugs!
DeleteHave a great relaxing weekend!

ReplyDeleteI loved the Beatles back in the day, and still do! Thanks Kathy, hugs!

DeleteLovely art today. I enjoy seeing the old family photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Gene, hugs!
DeleteValerie, I have a hard time finding a favorite here, they are all so beautiful. I just love your art and all the beautiful things you are making. The farmer is great and reminds me of Shaun the Sheep. I wish I just had a third of your art energy! Have a good rest of the week. Hugs - Carola
ReplyDeleteThe farmer is the Shaun the sheep farmer, I got some cut-outs free in a magazine many years back, and used them here!! Hugs!
Delete...Valerie , I LOVE the Beatles-beetles!!! I hope the internet connection improves. Take care and be well.
ReplyDeleteThe internet is just as bad today, I need to threaten the provider again! Hugs!
DeleteIt is never bad for a second look at your art Valerie. I remember most of these, and I still love the ribbon hair. Have a super day, and I hope you're having a healthy and good week too. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to go back and take a 2nd look! I have had a lot of appointments again, but next week I have a break! Hugs, Valerie
DeleteThe Beatles was a pretty clever name wasn’t it, and it could be argued that they got their start in Germany. Even at their best though, they were never quite as impressive as real beetles. They are able to fly (without the aid of psychotic drugs), are decked out in the most amazing range of colours you could imagine, and have been successful in every corner of the world, in every habitat and climatic condition, and all without destroying and polluting. Humans could learn from them, but of course in our normal arrogant way we never will. Sorry to hear that your internet service is being troublesome, Valerie, but maybe it will be resolved soon. In the meantime you may have a not entirely unwelcome respite from the screen. Hugs and kisses to both you and Heike - David.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is a typical David post! There are certainly many different beetles in the world, and there were only 4 Beatles! This week I saw green, metallic beetles, very handsome. Today was a strenuous day. And I am also fighting with my new smartphone, oh dear!. Hugs, Valerie.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Great series of face creations ~ fun post and so creative ~ thanks,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

DeleteI prefer The Beatles to the beetles. Great tags and I love the old photos
ReplyDeleteYou and me both, I miss the wild sixties!
DeleteAlways love to see your art work. Beautiful photographs and love how you've used them., they are so precious. You've reminded me that I have some of those little angel images somewhere, that's more stuff that's got forgotten! Have a great weekend, hugs Angela xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Angela, Old photos are treasures! Look for your angels! Hugs!
DeleteWow! these are just fabulous. Thanks for linking to AFFF
ReplyDeletemuch♡love
Thanks Gillena!
ReplyDeleteEntertaining post vj
ReplyDeleteWonderful tags, all, but I especially love the "Why do I have feet" one. Lovely and very interesting.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the Beatles (incidentally I love the face following the Beatles one - so pretty). I really like the way you have put that orange fringing on those faces and I love the photo of the wedding your mother attended. I love those hats they wore n those days but am not sure about the way they wore the veils. Must dig one out next time I am home with my mum on as a bridesmaid - I think they all had massive bouquets too.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
