The Lion and the Unicorn

 Hi Everybody!

Today is the last day of Erika's and my Poetry challenge at AJJ. This challenge made me very happy, and I would gladly use this theme again. Today I have another page made with pages and a poem from one of my books:

And some photos from yesterday evening and early this morning:

Sorry, that's all for today, I have been feeling really ill again, and need to rest- I'm just happy I managed to get something done!

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  9. And to think we get upset at same sex unions, or other unconventional relationships. The Lion and the Unicorn or The Owl and the Pussycat should be models for all of us. Live and let live, I say. I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling up to par, Valerie, and I hope that you will get better - much better - very soon. After all, there’s coffee to be drunk, cake to be eaten and Heike to be chatted with. Get on that right away! Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Thanks David! I'm glad you have noticed what it's about! I have another flare-up just now, I hope it goes away quickly. Anyway, at least I'm sitting at my compieter today, that`'s something! I hope you and Miriam are keeping well and fit. Give the crows an extra portion from me! Hugs xxxxxxx

  13. I haven't heard of that poem, but I really love it. If only people could learn that lesson. And that is such a lovely way to end the month, So are the sky photos. They show that time has moved on. Sadly so has our poem challenge, but maybe we can do it again next year. I really enjoyed sharing the month and poetry too. Have a wonderful last few hours of May. And welcome June. hugs-Erika

    1. Thanks Erika, the poem is from me, written many years ago for a little book. Lots of people need to learn that lesson. It would be great if we could do a co-hosting challenge again next year. I'm having a quiet and lazy day at home today, and enjoying it! Here's wishing us a good June, time flies! Hugs!

  22. Oh Valerie, I hope you start to feel better for resting. Nothing worse than feeling ill.
I love your poem, if only the world could read and act upon your words it would be a better place. Love the way you have illustrated it too.
Gorgeous photos of the sky which can be so dramatic. Now rest, please.
