Hi Everybody!
Today I have a hybrid piece for Sandie's new challenge at Tag Tuesday. I am very happy that Sandie has helped me so much in the past months, otherwise our blog would not have survived - thanks again. The painting on the tag is one of mine. I had to shrink it to get it to be a tag, and the background is another painting of mine with a digital overlay:
And I have a very quick and rather different piece for my geometric shapes challenge at AJJ:
Some wonderful pictures from David Zinn:
Some thinkies and funnies:
Tulip fields in Holland:
My beautiful roses this week:
Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by
You are a true artist, Valerie. What a stunning tag, my friend. And I love your beautiful rose! Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Mia, much appreciated. My roses are a delight!
DeleteHi Val, LOVE that tag, great idea to use your beautiful face! And the qauote in your journal page is so true! Here we have strange weather - one moment sun and blue skies, and then storm and wind and freezing cold! Stay strong! Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah. We seem to have the same, strange weather here, too. I'm staying home today except for a visit to Heike this afternoon! Hugs to you all! xx
DeleteGood morning, awesome art and thinkies hugs Kathy
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy, hugs!
DeleteYour tag is fabulous, Valerie. Can you even imagine what a lovely bookmark it would make! An exotic woman and a bird - I’d hardly want to turn the pages! I hope that you have been able to get out and walk recently. The weather here has been just right for that kind of thing and Miriam and I have been taking full advantage of it. The woodlands are alive with spring flowers and it is just so beautiful. Tomorrow I will be conducting a nature walk for the Waterloo Public Library, and wouldn’t you know it, rain is in the forecast. Unless it gets really heavy we’ll do it anyway, but it’s certainly not as much fun as doing in it sunshine. The last two walks I have done for this branch have attracted over forty people. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteHi David, I will see what I can do with a beautiful woman and a bird! I am sitting here and can't stop laughing. I read 'Waterloo Public Lavatory', and the strange thoughts in my head are giving me a funny time! Sorry, and rain is forecast, too, too funny. I think I am having my juvenile half hour, sorry, but it's still soooooo funny! Enjoy your trip, I hope lots of people accompany you! Big hugs, xxxxxxx
DeleteP.S. If you're thinking I have now gone completely crackers you might be right!
DeleteHmmm, let me ponder that for a while.
DeleteI love the colorful tag along with everything else. The gas pump warning sticker is just insanely funny! Have a great day and keep smiling.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol. Yes, it is really funny - who could ever think of it!?
DeleteI like how you used one of your faces on that tag. Sandie picked a super new theme. And your journal page may be simple but it works. And that's a great quote. David Zinn has a great ability to sketch something small but powerful. I've enjoyed all these you have been sharing. And now, I really want to visit a tulip field in Holland. Those areal views are amazing. Hope your Tuesday is going well. hugs-Erika
