Hi Everybody!
Hope you all had a great weekend, and welcome to a new week and a new challenge at AJJ, In the last challenge, we lost our marbles, this time it's just a bit crazy, but it could be that tis lady is on the brink of losing hers:
And before you ask, it's not a photo of me....
Geometry hanging over my desk, and all over the desk:
Geometric shapes with right foot of the artist:
The castle ruins:
Coffee cups galore:
Another painting made at the clinic:
This is the colour chart from my new gouche paints. If you want to read it, please stand on your head or reverse your computer or whatever, sorry!
A beautiful house!
Geometric breakfast:
More coffee:
And a little bit of fun for you:
Senior surprise egg - now new with Pacemaker, Hearing aids, false teeth, magnifying glass, Viagra or extra pension.
What would you choose?
I am linking to Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday tea party and to my geometric shapes challenge at AJJ.
Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely art, food and photos today Valerie!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, have a great week. Hugs!
DeleteThe walkway/stairs up to that house is sooooo pretty. Love the blue in your heart. That's a great shade of blue. Office looks good too. Happy New Week and boogie boogie. Ivy
ReplyDeleteThanks Ivy, I love that blue, too. I hope I manage some boogie woogie! Hugs!
Deleteooh i love this geometric piece! xo
ReplyDeleteHi Val, good morning. Love your funny face and the egg cracked me up, the ones the kids have are a tad different! Great photos, too. Have a great week, hugs from us all, Sarah 💖
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, I always had a funny face! Hugs to you all!
DeleteI managed to enjoy the new gouache chart without performing circus contortionist tricks! That probable says a lot about me! Have a great week, hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteThat's good, the colours are so lovely, it makes me want to play all day. It was a tad expensive, but I needed to treat myself! Hugs!
DeleteI love the geometric shapes in your house and your new guache colors, Valerie. Great painting too. Hugs, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mia, have a great week, hugs!
DeleteNow that I see the paintings made at the clinic, Valerie, I am more convinced than ever that it is really a spa, a get away for artistes, those weary of dealing with the plebians in life and aspiring to flights of creative fancy. Free from the daily chores of life you are able to soar to heights hitherto unattainable, never having to make time for peeling the potatoes, or wiping out the sink. Such is the life of the exalted. I hope that Heike will soon recover from her ills and that you will be able to get together again without fear of trading germs with each other. That is never a good thing. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteWell, we did have a shower in each room - does that count as a spa!? It is a very nice clinic, though, and I'm happy and thankful that my insurance pays it. But we had to clear the tables after mealtimes and do a few other little chores with others, and that's part of the therapy. Heike has a nasty bronchitis and needs to take antibiotics, and if it doesn't get better in 3 days she will have to go into hospital, so please keep your fingers crossed that she recovers quickly. Take care of yourself, have fun, hugs, Valerie xxxxxxx
DeleteYour geometric shapes are all wonderful - in your creations and in your craft room as well. I wish Scotty would beam me up some days too. LOL The photo of the house is so incredibly beautiful, and so are your pretty blue paintings you did while in the clinic. Wishing you a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that would be great to be beaned somewhere nice for a time! Have a great week! Hugs, Valerie
DeleteBeaned ? Oh dear!
DeleteLove the art, all the geometric shapes and all your pics complete with right foot lol.
ReplyDeleteCarol x
If I take a photo there is always something from me where it shouldn't be! Hugs!
DeleteGreat place for you! Nice and tidy. Love the blue painti g and that house with the plants!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, hugs!
DeleteLots of fun art and things today. I hope you have a freaking awesome day, too.
ReplyDeleteWell, my day was freaking, I don't want to say more! Hugs!
DeleteGeometria.sprawia, że świat wydaje sìę bardziej poukładany;) Super prace i fotografie. Seniorom pewnie potrzeba wszystkich rzeczy z jajka niesposzianki;)) Życzę dużo zdrowia:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucyna, I could certainly do with some things from a surprise egg! Hugs!
DeleteHi Valerie-Jael, loving your rug. You have great taste. Loving the art work too and the photos especially the coffee cups or is it the coffee Lol! Take cafre and have a good week. Hugs Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteMy rug is specially for my coffee - it doesn't show the stains! I had a white rug before, but white rugs, drinking coffee and painting do NOT go together! Hugs
DeleteLovely art, and a very nice collage/mosaic of castle ruins and coffee pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very nice looking house.
Reading the comments above I was sorry to see that Heike is not well, I do hope she gets better soon.
Enjoy the rest of the week.
All the best Jan

Thanks so much, Jan. I will give your good wishes to Heike!
DeleteWell, I would like the Zusatzrente from the Senioren Überraschungsei. I'm glad that you were able to do some art in the clinic and the blue color with the flowers is beautiful. Are you back home now? I really hope so. I heard that last weekend was very warm in Germany and you also could "enjoy" some Saharastaub. Hopefully it hasn't created any additional problems. Happy T day and take good care of yourself - Carola
DeleteGood to see that you are doing well — I assume you have returned from the clinic to your home, and I hope you’ll be enjoying home for a long time.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae! Yes, I am back home, and hope I can stay here for a long time! But the Klinik is also a wonderful place to recover. Hapy T Day, hugs!
Deletevery cute geometric shapes:D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy, hugs!
DeleteI am loving loving loving this latest art piece Valerie. It is such fun. You must be so excited to be home again. Especially with all that geometry around you-grin. And your funny, right now I'd like some extra pension since I don't (yet) need anything else. Unless there is a magic pill to get rid of my chronic hives. Hope you're having a wonderful T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika, I hope you find a cure for the hives!
DeleteI like the crazy art and all the geometrics in and around your house. I do love your art area and the wall. Have a very nice day today.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteHa, that first one is too funny and I love your blue flowers and wall art/rug and castle ruins. Hope you have a great end of the week and weekend, xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks Aimeslee, sometimes we just need to be a bit crazy - or a lot crazy! Hugs!
DeleteLast comment failed to publish, so I have little hope this one will.
ReplyDeleteGreat lady with the smiley faces in the background.
You have a lot of great geometric examples in your post today. LOVED the geometric breakfast and all the drink references, too. Thanks for sharing your geometric art at AJJ and your drinks for T this Tuesday.
Thanks so much, Elizabeth, much appreciated. But you do not have to comment just now, use your time to get better, please, and be very careful on those stairs!
DeleteI love your artwork, and all of the geometric designs in your photos Valerie.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Alison
Thanks Alison, hugs!
DeleteHow your crazy lady made me smile. I think I'd be joining her if I had to live with all those smiley faces around me. Great page though, and a smiley one too.
ReplyDeleteLove your wall at home and that square rung is fabulous..
Thanks for all the lovely photos again and I love that house but with all those stairs I'd have a bit of a problem going out and coming in at the moment.
Lotsa Hugs, Neet xx
Thanks Neet, I know what you meen by stairs. I have to drag myself up and down 32 steps each time I go out or in, torture. I would like to find a new place, but it's hard. I just don't want to fall down the steps again and break anything else! I wish I could be beamed up each time, yes! BIG hugs!
DeleteOh Valerie, you make geometry so much fun -- and remind us that it is everywhere. After looking at your photos I just looked around my room -- the rectangle of the computer screen, the squares or panes of wood on my curio cabinet, the round bowl on my desk and so much more! You help us see!
ReplyDeleteGreat post vj
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise that I was so far behind! I often ask Scotty to beam me up! Love this! Coffees looking good! Loving the castle pics! It looks as though you spent your time well at the clinic, hugs Chrisx
