The Weekend is here

Hi Everybody!
It's weekend, time for a break!
Here it has got very cold today, and this morning we started out with mist and frost. I stood on my balcony just before 7 am - still in my nightdress - and managed to get a photo which I will show later.

I also have a cold and snowy scene for Jo's nature challenge at AJJ. I like looking at snow, but I'm not really happy being out in it. The quote is from William Blake. I used a freebie from  the Graphics Fairy to which I added other elements:

My arty (messy) Kitchen:

And some thinkies / funnies:

And a photo of the mist and frost this morning:

Have a great weekend, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  7. Hi Val, good morning, it's weekend! Today the whole family is coming here, so I need to be ready! And of course, I am never ready....I love your beautiful, snowy scene with the deer, and the misty header looks very mysterious, but cold! Have a great weekend, hugs, Sarah

Sorry I am not here so often, some days I do struggle with the hands and the eyesight . I am also having blood tests etc and meds reviews and wonder in the evening where the day has gone.
    Take care of yourself.

  10. Love your winter themed art. A few days ago I made a "hot mess" out of a piece I've put many hours into, so am taking a few days away from it to process the emotions! It's supposed to warm up here tomorrow, but another named storm is coming in! Have a good weekend, Hugs, Deb

    1. Thanks Deb! I'm good at making hot messes, too, and it is very annoying. Hope you can put it behind you soon. Here the weather is not nice - very windy, rainy and cold. I had a hard time coming back from my friend as I was afraid the umbrella or my beret would fly away! But I'm safely back and that's good. Hope the storm won't affect you too much. Take care, hugs, Valerie

    Thank you.
Oh yes, I like the snow when I have skis on my feet!
It's still autumn for me... beautiful colorful leaves... But the Christmas markets are coming soon. Are you looking forward to it?

  17. Your cold wintery page is lovely. Valerie. Adding that buck/stag really draws the eye in because he is pretty impressive. And it does look frosty in your photo. We had some rain this morning and then the wind picked up and now it is chilly. A good time to snuggle up on the couch for certain. Take care and have a relaxing weekend. hugs-Erika

    1. Thanks Erika. Today it's not quite as cold as it was, but there's a very nasty wind. I'm having a stay home day, need to do some tidying on my art table, and I still have lots of nice books to read!
