Hi Everybody!
Another weekend has flown by and a new week is beginning. Hope we all have a good one! This evening we wil be starting Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday drink party, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies who visit here.
My drink is always coffee!
And some photos from my archives, taken in our little town and along the Rhine:
I love misty and foggy weather:
Happy T Day, have a great week,
And thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely drinks excellent photos and good thinkies! Have a good week!

ReplyDeleteThanks, have a great week! Hugs!
DeleteBeautiful photos from along the Rhine Valerie, great post.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, have a great, new week! Hugs!
DeleteI am appreciating this walk down ornithological memory lane, Valerie, with portraits of the birds who make your daily walks so pleasant. Just think for a moment how little they demand from nature, while we claim it all, mine the Earth, fill the land with garbage and poison the air and water. Birds are model citizens, they coexist with other creatures and their habitat is left intact and fully functioning. We could learn a lot from birds, but of course we never will. All of your coffees look delicious. I am sure that you have the widest collection of photographs of cups of coffee in the world. Marketers needing the perfect picture for an advertising campaign need only to contact you. Make sure they pay royalties! A friend of ours recently gave us a bag of shade-grown Costa Rican coffee and I have to say that it is delicious. I saw it in the store recently where I am pretty sure she bought it and I was shocked at the price. A generous gift indeed, but she is a very thoughtful person. She also brought over a basket of apples from her garden. Yesterday Miriam made focaccia bread and I have great cheese in the house. Life is good! Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteHi David, glad you liked the birds. Yes, humans tink they are the best living beings on the planet, but at the moment they seem to be the best in destroying the world. I watched a film yesterday about the north pole and how the ice is melting, it was really scary!
DeleteI do have a good amount of coffee photos, how did you know?! Those rare coffees are wonderful, I sometimes buy myself a small amount from the coffee shop here, and the best thing is tasting the coffees beforehand! Focaccia bread and good cheese are really good, and I'm sure you had a nice glass of wine to go with it! Have a great week, David, take care! Hugs xxxxxxx
I too like deep thinkers and coffee but I also like your photos and funnies. I may have to think about drinking beer now and giving up driving?! LOL Have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteYou got it! But I think I'll stick to my coffee. These days I travel by tram or taxi! Have a great week, hugs!
DeleteI always love your thinkies and photos. You're right about the fog. Interesting store windows, too! Happy week, Valerie!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie, I love looking in shop windows! Hugs!
DeleteMy previous comment disappeared for some reason. I guess we think alike. We both love coffee. I prefer Cold Brew, though. I love cold and bold coffee.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I need my coffee. You have inspired me to get another cup! Hugs!
DeleteHi Val, good afternoon. I'm late today, I know, work got in the way! Love your art today, and the photos are wonderful, too. Have a lovely week, take care, hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, don't worry, I'm happy you had plenty to do! Have a great week, hugs to all!
DeleteFind Joy in the Ordinary 💙The mist and fog make the scenery so mysterious. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteIndeed, I love it.
DeleteYour photos are wonderful... thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteI also love coffee in all its facets and now I especially love the fantastic color of the leaves... a dream in the forest.
A hug from Viola
Happy week for you.
Thanks so much, Viola. What would we do without our coffee?!
DeleteLoved all the quotes and memes. Thank you for the wisdom.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nas, I'm happy you like them! Hugs!
DeleteHi Valerie, you always have such intertesting photos to show us. I think the one looking through the brick archway looking at the sea would make a great starting point for a journal page, collage or fabric design. Now look! you've done it, I must go and make a Latte, scrummy. Thanks for the lovely comment ovefr at mine too. The card is a lot easier to make than it looks. Hugs, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteYes, that's a lovely view. It was taken in the castle ruins here, looking through the window down to the Rhine. Hope you enjoyed your Latte! Hugs!
DeleteHi Val, It's been a long day here, cleaning, shopping and then work this afternoon. Love your beautiful art as always, and the photos are wonderful. Have a nice week, hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteHave a good rest! Hugs!
DeleteLove all the pics and thank you for the comments on my blog-much appreciated
ReplyDeleteCarol x
You are very welcome, Carol, your cards are alway gorgeous! Hugs!
DeleteYour quotes are clever, your photos are beautiful and love the old brick structures. Always fun to visit.. thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Judee, have a great day, hugs!
DeleteYour views of the Rhine are always fun to see: somehow it's in my mind as halfway mythical, with Die Lorelei and other poetry occupying space in my mind.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I love the Rhine, and there are so many lovely places along it. Die Lorelei is magic, but other parts, too. I'm glad I live near it. Hugs!
DeleteI always love your photos from your town and your views of the Rhine! I agree with the meme about real connection. Enough with superficial topics, let's talk about the real stuff.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy tea day, Valerie,
Kate
Thanks Kate. I only have 2 people where we really talk, and don't just blah-blah-blah! A real exchange is so good! Hugs.
DeleteYou have some more fun memes today Valerie. And enough superficial chat. I think we all need more time to sit around with some kind of drink and really talk. Nice to see and see again your photos. I hope you had a nice relaxing weekend and have a great T day too. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika, I'm dreaming of your lobster roll! Hugs!
DeleteReally enjoyed the photographs you've shared here.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good week ahead.
All the best Jan
Thanks Jan, have a great day. Hugs!
DeleteYour first image trifft den Nagel auf den Kopf! I really like deep connections as well, and it's not always easy to get them. I always love your coffee photos - is that a gebrannte Mandel next to one of the cups? The last time I had real gebrannte Mandeln was in Munich last year in May - so delicious! I bet you can get them at the upcoming Weihnachtsmärkte. That's when I usually got them and at the Kirmes of course. Happy T day, Valerie, have a good week.
DeleteI would love to stroll through your lovely town some day. Hugs, Sandra sandracox.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteNow wouldn't that be good! Have a great day, hugs!
DeleteAll those coffee photos you showed have me in the mood for a fresh cup of hot coffee. They are all fun and joyful. I always love your photos from the Rhine and the fog. Wonderful thinkies, too. Thanks for sharing these with us for T this Tuesday, dear Valerie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth, glad you liked the photos and funnies. Happy T Day, hugs!
DeleteYour beautiful photos and artwork are already a visual treat, and when paired with those great quotes, it's like a triple dose of inspiration! Thanks for all these shares. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amila, happy T Day, hugs!
DeleteBeautiful photos and wonderful quotes.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteI coulda sworn I left a comment yesterday... "Find joy in the ordinary" is an inspiration :) Your skies are atmospheric. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I loved hat, too! Happy T day!
Deletelovely photos today Valerie and I love your painting of the girl with the tea cup. Happy T Day! Elle xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Elle, happy T Day, hugs!
DeleteEin interessanter Beginn, das wunderbare Drink Beer Taferl, und bei den Kaffeetassen kriege ich sowieso immer Lust auf eine feine Tasse - Happy T-day
ReplyDeleteVioletta
Ich auch, ich brauche mein Kaffee! Hugs!
DeleteI'm with you with 'the real connection'. But it's not always easy. There are only a few people I have that sort of connection with.
ReplyDeleteAnd I always love to see your photos of your walks. I agree that photos of misty weather are beautiful. But I wouldn't like to go out in that sort of weather. The damp goes right through my clothes and makes me feel cold however warm I am dressed. I've had more than a month of dampness and rain and I am glad to be back in Spain.
Happy T-Day,.
Lisca
If you live near the Rhine, you need to like fog and mist! But I really love it here. Although I come from London I have a deep connection to this place where I live. In London we lived right by the Thames, too, and the fog in London was really bad! I can imagine how good the warmth of Spain does you. Enjoy! Hugs!
DeleteWhat a great choice of drinks and such lovely photos of your area too. Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris! Hugs!
