T sTands for This, ThaT and the oTher

Hi Everybody!

I had a very restful - I would even say lazy - weekend, and I enjoyed it! Hope you all had a great weekend, whatever you were up to.

This evening we will be celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday drink party, where we share our drinks. So here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang:

I made veggie soup:

Coffee:

Today I am showing some repeat pieces from 2019, where did the time go? I made some huge altered bags - which I use to store art in .

And here a journal spread in a freebie furniture cataloge from one of the stores here - you can still see the couch in the background!

And this is one of my fave pieces, I love autumn and tried to depict it here:

Have a happy T Day and a good new week,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  18. It sounds like a lovely weekend, and making soup is one of my favorite things to do-along with art that is. :) I remember those bags, and I love how the couch shows through in that furniture catalogue. You did it proud, and it might even look better than just the couch by itself. And you definitely captured autumn in your painting. I hope you had a lovely Monday and have a great T day too. hugs-Erika

  19. Your crafty adventures are always a source of inspiration. Altered bags are amazing. You've turned a furniture catalogue into a nice journal. Crafting magic from everyday items is such a wonderful way to bring creativity to life. The transformation of a furniture catalog into a journal is truly inspired. Keep on creating enchanting pieces! Happy T Tuesday!

It's great that you had a cozy weekend. I spent Sunday with a friend and we went to the opera "The Vampyr" together, in keeping with the scary weather that is now setting in.

  29. Coffee is a must in the morning and coffee break at a bakery is nice. I too love soup in the winter, and experimented with pumpkins and carrots. I taught ESL for a few years and had a German student who taught me about parsnip; she used it in her potato salad. I love how you altered that Prada bag. So creative!

The page spread from the furniture catalogue looks awesome - what a fun idea! I like the couch peeking through. The autumn page is so beautiful - autumn and birds, some of my favorite things. Oh that bakery, how I miss them! I envy you so much for them. Have a good week, Valerie!

Have to smile at all your coffee drinking - I don't drink coffee any more - well, just lately that is not strictly true. I had a pumpkin latte at Starbucks and bought some syrukp and now we have one each aftertnoon. me drinkilng coffee!

    1. Hi Neet, one coffee a day is better than none! Main thing is that you enjoy it! But I am not a Starbucks fan, they are just too expensive. So, now I am off to bed, I'm tired from doing nothing! Hugs!
