Midweek Post

Hi Everybody!

Hope you are all enjoying your week. Time is flying by as always, and there are never enough hours in the day. And to top it all the Lifebook Taster Sessions are keeping me extra occupied, so many great ideas and inspiration!
Today I have another tag for Michele's silhouettes challenge at Tag Tuesday:

And I have one more piece for Elle's Books, cats, tea challenge at AJJ. I love this vintage picture of the children learning, and the school cat is looking after them! I added a colourful overlay in my digital programme:

And some thinkies / funnies and photos:

I love to watch the dawn:

And in the evening the sun often shines over the rooftops and illuminates the tops of the trees:

I thought this photo from FB fits wsell to  Elle's challenge:

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  3. That a fun tag with a great quote. And true too. (I have a tag in tomorrow's post too.) And that is a wonderful school page for Elle's challenge, and I am glad they have a classroom cat too. And I would love bookshelves like that tree. That is the coolest. I hope you're having a great week. hugs-Erika

  6. Good morning Your Delectable Business: I think a I need a bookcase like that. One in every room in fact. I am now at the point where I am culling some of my books and each time it is a wrench to let them go, but when one comes in another must go! Not quite one-to-one, but close. I took a load to our naturalists club meeting on Monday night and people gobbled them up with glee and enthusiasm. At least I know they will go where they are appreciated. I can’t bear the thought of taking them to a thrift store. I have a funeral to go to this weekend. One of my brothers-in-law died. He was ninety years old and had dementia, so we don’t need to feel especially sad. The older I get I have concluded more firmly than ever that people live and people die and there’s not much more to it than that. My daughter and son-in-law will be visiting too, so if I am slow getting to your blog, you will understand why. In the meantime be very good (well maybe a little bad), have fun, walk sprightly, drink coffee, hug Heike, greet the geese. Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Hi David, good afternoon! I think we would all like that bookcase, it's a lovely idea! I know how you feel, I have had to get rid of a lot of books, too, and it always hurts. I have less room here than in my previous apartment. Yes, people get older and die, sad but true. Have fun with your daughter and son-in-law. I was out with Heike again today, and we enjoyed some delicious food! Being good is boring. Good girls go to heaven, and girls go everywhere! HugsXxxxxxx

  9. Love your silhouette on the tag, very elegant. The image on the page with the kids and the cat is lovely,, maybe the cat can read the book too, they are smarter than we think after all. I wonder what that star is in your sunrise photos, or is it the moon? I can't tell (my eyes). And yes I would love that tree bookcase too, isn't is beautiful? Thanks for joining me for the Books, Cats & Tea September theme at Art Journal Journey this month. Happy Journalling! Elle xx

    1. Thanks Elle, everyone loves that bookcase. The star is a planet, Venus or Saturn. Cats are very smart, and my car and dog were best friends furever. And sometimes partners in crime! Hugs!

    Alles Liebe, Traude

  20. I like all your thinkies/funnies but the book tree - WOW, that is something else. How fantastic is that!
Lovely photos too, and the one with the golden tree tops is particularly beautiful. You will have me looking out each morning now but I don't think we have much sun around. Our new windows are plain glass (previously leaded) so I am really appreciating the gardens now when I sit looking out.
Love your tag. I remember going through a phase of 20's type ladies and still love them. I have quite a lot of Ertes ladies showing his fashion designs, always a pleasure to use.
I am addicted to period dramas and so anything around the Edwardian/Victorian period always appeals to me and these girls at school are fabulous. What a great picture for your journal and the addition of the cat (which I think is a marmalade one) is just perfect for Elle's theme at AJJ.
    Hugs, Neet xx
    ps hope you are ok
