DeleteHi Valerie, if you want to do some more stamping get a platform. This makes it so much easier than trying to stamp with a block that you have to hold in your hand. Sizzix have even brought out one for stencilling too. Loving your funnies today especially the puppy in the food bowl and the alpacas. Have a good week, hugs Angela xxx

DeleteThis should be a really fun tag challenge. And I love your tags. That cat and the dog are adorable. I have to laugh at that first tag with kitty and the yarn. Maddie was a yarn dog and would get into my yarn and certainly make a huge mess of it. :) Hope your week has started off well. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteYes, it's fun! Cats and dogs love playing with balls of wool, mine certainly did. My dog used to get all tangled up and then growl at the wool and chew it!

DeleteAnimal fun (with or without Pinky) seems like a challenge to be embraced with gusto. Think of a pet dog chasing sticks and bringing them back for more, a hamster sitting on your hand looking up adorably, a cat treating you with utter disdain as though you are barely fit to clean the litter box, a young lamb imprinted on you in the spring. Animals make humans better humans, and lord knows we could use some improvement. Lots of improvement. I always consider it a great disservice to animals when they are used in a pejorative way to describe humans, as in, “He’s such an animal”, or “She lives like a pig.” Most animals are exemplary parents who take far greater care of their children than many humans, and we would do well to emulate some of their behaviours. I am very happy that animals have always been part of my life and that will continue forever….well, you know what I mean. Even I won’t last forever. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteYes, animals can teach us a lot, that's true. I'm sorry I can't keep an anymore, but it's just not possible. Years back when my dog Scruffy had her babies, my cat, Kitty, acted midwife. She took each little puppy after their birth, licked them clean, and then laid them by Scruffy. She looked after them till they were out of the house. Our dog and cat were both better than most humans, and I love to walk to the farm at the end of our street and see the farm animals, always a treat for me.

DeleteI was sure I left a comment on this post, but apparently not. That is one of my favorite sayings about my cats. I remember I had a male friend who wanted to kick my cat "Dog" outside, because he thought cats didn't belong in the house all day and night. Needless to say, I got rid of him when he tried to put Dog out one day!!! That tag says it all!

I'll have to put my thinking cap on, or I guess I can just keep on using owls (I have an ancient Sassafras Lass stamp set of 6 boy and 6 girl owls and I might have used only one of them.)
