Hi Everybody!
Today I have some faces for Nicole's FFO. I am also linking to Gillena's AFFF. The faces were painted at arious times in past years:
Some of my Modigliani knock-offs:
And a van Gogh knock-off:
And some thinkies / funnies:
Have a great day, take care,

Delete...Valerie, your collection this week is amazing. If you rest you rust is my favorite and I hope that I will enjoy the possibilities. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom. The rusty rose is on an old gate near here, I took a photo and cut it out, and now I can use it when I want! I keep hoping that the rose will fall off when I look at the gate, but alas, I'm still waiting!
DeleteJestem peĹna podziwu dla.twojego talentu. PiÄkne portrety inspirowane dzieĹami wielkich mistrzĂłw. MiĹego weekenduđ
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lucyna! Have a wonderful weekend, hugs!
DeleteThanks David, Heike would be good as a Modigliani! Yesterday evening we celebrated her 80th birthday in a very nice restaurant by the Rhine, and I enjoyed a huge piece of salmon grilled with a sage crust, delicious! In the meantime I do have a huge selection of pictures, I am running out of space. I will have to get rid of some furniture to make a space for the paintings! There are so many people who have been deeply challenged in life, glad you were there to offer some help in the form of your walk. Yesterday we had big storms and lots of rain, which we so badly needed. of course it started to rain just as I walked to Heike's brother's car, and my nicely styled hair was just rats-tails by the time we got into the restaurant! Have a nice day, hugs, Valerie xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI love your first Modigliani knockoff. He reminds me of George O'Dowd (aka Boy George.)
ReplyDeleteI also love the Van Gogh piece.
Thanks Gene, that's funny. I wonder what Modigliani would have said! Hugs!
DeleteYou have some fabulous faces Valerie. They are all lovely, and I even remember many of them. I hope you are having a good health week and it's cooled off some. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. I'm struggling his week, I can't cope with the heat. There's always something! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWonderful faces and styles. I really like the Modigliani style. I burst out laughing at the craft funny. A new way to put a spin on supplies not being used. They're not taking up space. They're showcasing the possibilities. đşSend the heat this way! I hope it cools down for you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThanks CJ, I love that funny, too! I so wish I could send you the heat, it makes me feel really bad.
DeleteLove all the faces especially the first one
ReplyDeleteCarol x
Thanks Carol! Hugs!
DeleteWhat is remarkable about those faces is all those noses, some very pretty, some unusual. Van Gogh's nose is quite striking.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have a nose for noses....
DeleteHi Valerie. You are my feature for this week. Thanks for sending the photo. You are such a magnificent face artists. The above art proves that. Thank you for joining FFO and have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole, have a great weekend! Keep well! Hugs!
DeleteI loved all your versions of faces. Here's hoping the weekend brings you a bit of a cool down. I will never catch up with all the posts I've missed over the past week or so. But I'll do my best to keep up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie. I'm still trying to catch up with myself! Happy weekend! Hugs!
DeleteHi Valerie! I sure hope FriYay finds you well and rested enough for any weekend plans. Oh, what a delightful plethora of faces! Loved perusing them and the wise words. The Mogs are my favorite! He was a true original and your knockoffs are on point. Same with the Van Gogh. What a poignant quote. True for me, broken by my health. Grateful to have them, too. Happy Weekend and Big Hugs, xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks Aimeslee! friYay is called FreuTag here, same meaning. Modigliani and van Gogh are my faves. It's hard when your health is not good, and you always do so well in spite of it all. Yesterday a friend celebrated her 80th birthday, we had a nice evening out. Have a great weekend, take care, hugs!
DeleteA lovely collection of faces. I like the funnies too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lin! Hugs!
DeleteI love the new faces but I wonder where you get your ideas from, maybe they are people you know. Nice little bird box idea and I c an easily relate to the craft supplies. Wishing you a very happy weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteI think the faces are perhaps people I have seen or imagined or a mixture of both, I never know for sure. Happy weekend, hugs! xxxx
DeleteFabulous faces, Valerie.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the funnies and thinkies.
Hugs and blessings
