Hi Everybody!
Today we are starting a new challenge at AJJ and this time the lovely Matilde of Craftowanie is our hostess. Her theme is All about numbers, so please look at the AJJ blog to find out more about it. Welcome Martina, and enjoy your month with us!
I have a hybrid piece today, a mix of painting, photos and some digital elements:
Some funnies / thinkies:
And some photos from my little world:
Sorry David, the Canada geese are having a rest today! But I have some beautiful Nile Geese:
And a lovely duck:
I love wtaching the sheep on the meadows along the Rhine:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Your collage is great! I love the combination of all these elements 😊 And beautiful photos of flowers and sheeps! Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Matilde, have fun!
DeleteHi Val, good morning. You are up early today. Just got the kids off to school, so now I can have a quiet breakfast before I tackle my work! I LOVE your fabulous page, you have packed so many details into it, and the colours are lovely. Have a nice day, take care, hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, hugs!
DeleteYours is the fourth blog I've visited today that has a butterfly. I really like the flowers and the numbers that are subtle. You have given us a great first entry for Matilde's theme at AJJ.
ReplyDeleteI especially liked your thinkies and funnies this time. And that last photo of the sheep. that looks like a very pregnant mother to be.
Oh yes, she was very pregnant!
DeleteThe Annual 61 day ICAD begins today too! My, those Nile Geese are positively elegant. Why, they are even poised as if fresh from drawings of ancient Egypt! Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteTha Nile Geese really look Egyptian, I love them!
DeleteWhat a lovely page for June. The garden is amazing and I like the eye just peeking through. 👍. And all the sheep. Here Iceland there are many sheep including lots of adorable little lambs. They are running and jumping in the green fields. And mostly
ReplyDeleteTwins too. I wonder how that happens or so sheep often give birth to twins? I don’t know. Happy June to you Valerie. Have a wonderful
Start to the month hugs Erila

ReplyDeleteThanks Chris, have a great week!
DeleteFabulous and colourful page Valerie. Great photos and funnies. I hope you are feeling better, take care, hugs Wendy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy, hugs!
DeleteGood morning, Valerie. Your numbers are very carefully situated as to be almost camouflaged, so I think it's very interesting that you incorporated the theme in this manner. It's a reflection of nature in a vague sort of way. Speaking of nature, I have to say that your Nile Geese are very handsome indeed, and quite welcome this morning instead of the normal array of Canada Geese. As long as we know who is superior, that's all that counts. I am quite sure the Canada Geese are magnanimous and willing to let the others have a moment of glory. Surely one of the true signs of spring is the appearance of little lambs, and don't they just look sweet? I bet every cell phone that passed by was whipped out for a photograph or two. Who can resist? I hope you are well and feeling a little spry this morning. Meet Heike for a coffee, discuss the affairs of the world and put them all in order, and we will all be thankful. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteI love the lambs, so pretty. Glad you acknowledge the lovely Nile geese, too! Just a short comment today, my friend Sabine visited me and we had a full day, good food and drink, and now I am flat out! More tomorrow, hugs, xxxxxxxxxxxx
DeleteBeautiful page love the age thinkie. The photos are lovely
ReplyDeleteThanks, that one spoke to me, too!

ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy, same here! Hugs!
DeleteYour page reminds me of a secret garden. So pretty. Awww, the little black lambie is so cute. Enjoy your day
ReplyDeleteThanks, black lambs are always so sweet!
DeleteSheep always seem so peaceful and idyllic. Your photos make them look really clean and beautiful, though I don’t think they are in reality very clean. It’s great that your environment is so full of flowers. Our neighborhood is also full of flowers now — but that doesn't really last all summer.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae. Sometimes the sheep are a bit sh*tty, but this time they were really clean! Have a great day, hugs!

ReplyDeleteYes, the lunatic asylum is my fave!
DeleteYour hybrid piece has a light cheeriness about it except the look on the face belies cheeriness . And do we not all pretend to be normal ... whatever normal means to any of us :) Your Funnies and Thinkies are profound this week. I love the one about the lunatic asylum ... where on earth do you find these. You must have a secret source :) Your photography is wonderful and I love the sheep and especially the little black sheep who will spend his life reminding people who and who is not a black sheep in their family :) And I can't end without mentioning the beautiful Nile geese ... I suppose we have thought the Canada Geese beautiful until we saw this beautiful Nile Goose ... everything is relative, right? Happy summer days to you, Valerie ...
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From the Sol
