T sTands for Tag Tuesday and more

Hi Everybody!

Time is flying and in a few days it will be Christmas. I hope you have  all finished your preparations and are not feeling too stressed.

Today I have a tag for Tag Tuesday where our lovely Pinkie is hosting. You still have a week to link your 'anything Christmas' tags:

And I have another journal page for my doors challenge at AJJ. It would be nice if more people would join in!
I used a photo from Pexels which shows a public toilet in London.  I gave it various  additions, 8 all together. Can you find them?

Today is also Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies who visit here. My drink is, as always, cappuccino:

And I baked a lemon cake, which my neighbours helped me to eat:

This dangerous spider on the floor scared me this morning:

And some funnies and thinkies:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by

  1. What a fun tag Valerie. That deer is very adorable. And this is another fun door page. The man hanging out of the right window made me laugh. I also like your Christmas tree meme. That is very appropriate for us artsy kinds. Smile. Your lemon cake looks yummy. Too bad you've shared it with all your neighbors as I'd take a piece. Smile. That spider looks really scary-smile. I hope all is well with your fingers. Happy early T day and start to the new week. Hugs-Erika

  7. Good morning Valerie: Oh that spider was so scary I can barely imagine the terror it must have caused. Your poor little heart is probably still palpitating. I am sure a baking the lemon cake was appropriate therapy and that having a slice or two probably calmed your nerves so that you could function again. As for the additions to the public toilet I am still missing one. I am assuming the person walking through the door was part of the original image. I confess that I have rarely started my day probing around a public toilet. People might be suspicious! Another week gets underway for all those poor people who still have to go to work. I don't miss it one bit. Hugs and kisses. David

    1. David, how could you be so cruel to me! I didn't have my glasses on and it really looked like a spider! I needed 2 cups of coffee to calm down again. And there are definitely 8 *** which don't belong to the photo. I'm glad to hear you don't usually lurk around public toilets, that could really make people think the wrong thing! I don't miss having to go to work anymore, always driving there and back in the dark and cold in winter, oh no! An extra hour or so in bed is much better! Have a great day. We've got blue skies and sunshine here but it's cold! Hugs!

  9. Cute tag. The best berries? are always at the top. I like your photos of the shop window decorations. The reflections make it look like the buildings are decorated on the outside. That spider would have me singing the high notes and dancing. I'd need a slice or two of lemon cake to calm down. Happy T Day!

  17. Beautiful tag and imaginative journal page. The cat knocked the tree down this morning and then the dog locked my husband down the basement (with his rubber toy) when he went down to get a new support for the tree. Meantime, I was holding onto what was left of the tree, while Terry struggled to get through the door, urging Samson to pick up his toy. Our son says the pets are rebelling because they have no presents under the tree. Our 18-year-old cat kept out of the conspiracy (we thought) until she sneaked down the basement and started knocking things off a shelf. Maybe we are not done shopping yet, after all. Merry Christmas.

  22. Lots to see and enjoy in your blog today. That cake looks ever so yummy. I scared myself with a black tape cord from my PJ;s the other day, looking down I thought it was a spider running but realised it was just my cord moving. And I did have my glasses on.
love the little deer on the tag, so delightful.
Well, I thought there were nine additions to the picture of the public building. Now how did I get there?

  30. First, happy birthday. Second, that tag is really cute and clever. I love how you drew the darling reindeer.

Third, I love the added elements to the toilet. I counted more than 8, 11 in fact, but I also counted the mam in the doorway. It's a great puzzle and fun to try to decipher. It's also great for your theme at AJJ.

Of course, I love that you took us to a cafe for your favorite, a cappucinno. I also enjoyed walking around town and looking in the stores. Of course, your cake looks great, too.

Had to laugh at those famous artists trees. Very clever indeed. Thanks or sharing all these with us for T this Tuesday, dear.

  32. Wonderful quote by Mother Teresa. I try to live like that but it is not easy. I got given it when I started working as a hospice (palliative care) nurse.
I had fun trying to count the additions. I got more than eight so some of them in the window must have been in the original picture.
The 'spider' made me laugh. I can identify with that, as I can't see very well without my glasses. Luckily I'm not afraid of spiders.
    Greetings from sunny Spain,
Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy 2022.
