New Challenge at Tag Tuesday

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and our lovely Sandie is hosting. She has chosen 'a little bit of steampunk' as her theme, and I hope to see lots of you joining in. As always, the challenge runs for 2 weeks and tags of all formats are most welcome. Hope to see YOU there!

I made a hybrid tag using images from Serif and me:

And I digitally added the tag to a journal page and am linking to my heavy metal challenge at AJJ

And we saw lots of heavy metal while cruising through the industrial harbour in Duisburg:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  7. Wow, this is a beauty and so perfect for our industrial post! It has a great pairing and I love the masucline look to it - it looks like it was a wonderful day trip :)

  8. Your steampunk tag looks quite splendid, Valerie, and fits in well with the theme. Your cruise up and down the river appears to have taken you to some heavy-duty industrial zones. The equipment in ports amazes me these days, especially the giant cranes and other specialized machinery for handling containers, which comprise most of the world's maritime traffic. I remember in Hong Kong it seemed to stretch forever, and you could hardly believe that so many containers existed in the world - and that was just one port! Enjoy the rest of the week. Spring is on the agenda very soon! Hugs and kisses, David.

    1. Thanks David! The harbour in Duisburg has been a site of heavy industry for many years. I haven't been to Hong Kong, but I can imagine it. I grew up by the London Docks, too, and socks and harbours make me feel at home! Spring is springing here, the birds are singing and we can sit outside again. Have a great day, take care, hugs to you and Miriam!

  17. Steampunk is something I've never been good at creating. I'm SO glad you shared your tag so I could get some ideas. It's even better that you added it to a journal page so you could share it with us at Art Journal Journey. Wonderful entry, dear.

Still loving the industrial feel the river cruise took you and your friend on. Simply beautiful, since I'm so big on industrial, too.

  25. Love the card. I am always fascinated by you photos. Great photography.

The snow here is still hanging around. It was upper 40's Far. yesterday and close to 50's presently. The snow is disappearing quickly. YAY. The mud and muck will so follow and hopefully the flowers are already coming up under the snow.

    Hugs and Blessings
