Rain's Thursday Art date - 2 colours

Hi Everybody!

For Rain's art-date I have chosen some of my creations which have 2 main colours in them, and sometimes a bit more....

Vincent van Gogh said 'There is no blue without yellow and orange':

Details from some of my van Gogh knock-offs:

Okay, here there are at least 2 colours:

I love this colour combination:

And some photos with 2 colours (some pics from Pexels):

That's all for today folks!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  10. I love your tulips, and agree so much about that delicious colour combination. Also, I never thought about it until I read your quote, how much I love orange and blue together. In fact, subconsciously, I have loved it since I was a child, yet would never call it a favourite until today.

    1. Thanks Deb. Orange, yellow and blue are really wonderful together, and always remind me of sun and blue skies. These are colours I just love. I just came back from a rainy walk along the Rhine. Have a wonderful day, take care of yourself.

  13. Greetings from Waterloo to Balconia-by-the-Rhine. This is a real burst of colour to enjoy with my first coffee of the day! The thing that is catching my eye, however, as I am sure you will realize, is the wide variety of strange and hitherto unencountered birds, some of which are quite strange I might add. One appears to represent a controversial hybridization of homo sapiens and a bird, and the images that might conjure up are not to be discussed in polite company! I can see that my work is cut out for me today, Valerie. I shall be bringing out all the heavy duty ornithological tomes to see if I can shed light on these oddities. One delightful oddity at BalconIa has no need of tomes for elucidation, however. It is always a pleasure Your Delightful Quirkiness!

    1. Hi David. By now you should really know that we here in Balconia-by-the-Rhine enjoy a variety of birds, animals, plants and people who are only to be found here in this special okotope. I rarely have company, and never polite company, so do't have to watch my mouth when discussing things! Wait till you see the rest of the bird oddities I have lined up for you! I'm off to the dentist now, so I'll wish you a happy day!
