Winter holidays - light in the darkness of winter

 Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing you all happy holidays.

Today I am sharing some holiday art and photos. I am linking to
Her theme is merry Christmas.

Here you can see some of my home-baked mince pies as 'postage stamp':

The birds here in Kaiserswerth also like to dress up for the season:

I wonder why the heron doesn't wear boots in that cold water:

Light is so important at this time of year:

I am also linking to Paint Party Friday.

Bright colours bring us joy:

Furry family members are also included in the celebrations:

Images and photos  used from Serif, Pexels and me.

Whatever you are celebrating, have fun and enjoy being together with friends and family.

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  7. Tolles Banner!!!

    1. Das Fleisch habe ich vermisst! ;-)
Die Früchte nicht so... War das süß! Und dann isst man ja auf. Da klebt der ganze Mund, Hilfe!!! :-)
Ach, die Gene... Weder Vater noch Mutter waren für Süßes.

  11. Your Christmas day post was a feast for sore eyes this morning Valerie. Need I tell you that your pictures always delight me and I am particularly fond of seeing the different foods you bake or cook. I am afraid I am growing into a slug and try to encourage myself to do more through your example!

  14. Merry Christmas! The birds in their red hats made me laugh. Maybe the heron doesn’t wear boots because the cold water helps to reduce the swelling in his legs. 🎅🎄

    Sabine
