Weekend post

Hi Everybody!

Friday has been another day of  non-stop rain, but I still enjoyed my walks, more or less. I'm always thankful for waterproof clothing, boots and brollies!

Today I had a little playtime in my digital programme. I started off with an A3 mixed media journal page made long ago using left over red and black paint and stencils:

After importing it into my digital programme I copied it several times and layered them over each other, reducing the size each time. This was harder than it looks, but much better than doing housework! Then I added the text, which also had to be copied in various sizes onto each layer. Ad infinitum means again and again, or can be used in the sense of forever:

I had fun playing on this wet and dark afternoon. I am linking to Yvonne's words and numbers challenge at Art Journal Journey

Thursday was a dry day, crisp and cold, and I took a walk 'on the dark side' along the Rhine after Art Group, and enjoyed the beautiful colours and atmosphere very much:

And later in the evening I got some shots of the moon before it clouded over again:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. I am happy to hear that you still got out for your walks, but nonstop rain is not pleasant for sure. Still, you can't change the weather so it's good to make the most of it.

  15. What amazing digital work. I can only imagine how long it must have taken you to layer those Monas. This is utterly stunning and I'm delighted that you joined us again at Art Journal Journey. It's a beauty.

Those clouds were very moody, but the lights along and in the river brightened up the walk. There's something magical about Christmas lights. Lovely photos and lovely art, dear friend.
