Hi Everybody!
Today I have another tag to share for my
autumn/Halloween challenge at Tag Tuesday - you still have a
couple of days to join in! The image was sewn onto a
coordinating backing paper and I used some natural
leaves for decoration.

For the Simon Monday challenge, monochrome,
I have a card that I have made. It was stamped onto LaBlanche
speciality paper. The BG stamps are also from LaBlanche and
were stamped with vintage photo DI, the image of Leda
(Lost Coast Designs) was stamped with Adirondack
Espresso. The die-cut word is from Sizzix. I sewed all the
layers together again:
I fitted the card inside this 'window' card which is a
recycled one which I didn't want to throw away:
And more photos of my walk in Südpark:
The 'washing' on the line is supposed to be art:
Crossing the bridge:
Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Lieben Gruss Elke
Your tag and card are both gorgeous. I love the face you used on the card, is it from Leonardo? Wonderful photos again, it's easy to see how much you love nature and the ducks and birds - did you feed the crows? Enjoy your day. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteNo, but there was a lady who did, she seems to go there everyday and feed them.
DeleteI love the little striding duck on your header. I love the tag too.
ReplyDeleteLove both the tag and the card. The recycled window card is the perfect holder for the card. It looks like it was made just for that purpose. Excellent. As always, wonderful photography. Great eye for subject matter.
ReplyDeleteLove, Hugs and Blessings

I always love your adventure of your walks and just sit and admire the gorgeous quality of life. Love your tags and the out standing colours.xxx
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.♥

BTW I too prefer my slippers or just bare feet.x
The tag you created is fabulous. The face you chose is beautiful and I love the shading you used that echoed the colors of the leaves.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I have that Lost Coast Design stamp. It was one of the first I was given. I've had it for years and years. So long in fact, I've forgotten who gave it to me. I love your treatment of the design. It turned out great.
Still enjoying your walks. Such beauty this time of year in your part of the world. Hope your weekend is fabulous.
Beautiful tag and card. Thanks for pointing out the washing on the line as art, interesting and holly berries!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are wondrous. You just keep topping yourself.
ReplyDeleteLoved the walk. Especially the ducks and holly.
Enjoy your weekend.
Hugs,
Lovely tags. The leaves you used on the tags, the colors are so brilliant. Because of the hot, dry Summer and warm Fall, our leaves are a bit dull in color this year. The pictures in the park are beautiful. Love the crows. And the duck on the bridge, is that the same little fellow you took a picture of the other day with his best foot forward? Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, there were a lot of ducks and they all looked rather similar!
DeleteWow. The leaves are coming down there too, aren't they? And crows are around in the summer too but I always notice them more at this time of year. They are interesting birds. Maybe not the prettiest but surely pretty smart. Loving both the tag and your journal page tage. Adding that card insert made the look so different-and I like the mysteriousness of it. Hope its good Saturday so far. Sun is out here but tomorrow it is suppose to pour all day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteBoth pieces are absolutely beautiful! Südpark must be so gorgeous year round. The hanging clothes line is so cute. I love seeing unexpected art in a park.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects Valerie, I love how you use the natural leaves to embellish your autumn tag.
ReplyDeleteSuper photos, Not many folk around, I think it would make it easier for you to take such beautiful shots.
I wish I could think of more original words to describe your awesome nature photos, love seeing each one. Your tags are just right!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely set of cards! I really like the sewing and the natural embellishments. Beautiful photos as well.
