Hi Everybody!
On Tuesday we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday -
autumn and/or Halloween.
Tags of all formats are welcome, and I look forward
to seeing your creations in the next 2 weeks.
And good news - we have a new DT member, the very
talented Sandie of Somewhere to be me,
so welcome on board!
I made 2 tags, one for Autumn and one for Halloween, but
you could also combine both themes in one tag.
The first tag was made using a Mucha image from Gecko Galz
on a painted background. I added lots of gold leafing, some
real leaves which were embossed with gold EP, bits and
bobs of fibres, beads and a sunflower:
This tag was made from a spare bit of card, which I gave a
quick coat of paint. I stamped the hat, which, broom and cat twice,
once directly onto the card, and once using Stazon on to
acetate, and placed the images over each other to
give more depth. The bat is a die-cut, the other pieces are
from my stash. I sewed the tag onto a recycled BG:
Tuesday is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday
so I would like to give a warm welcome to all
of the nice ladies of the T Gang.
We had wonderful weekend weather, and I was able to
sit outside for my Sunday coffee:
Monday morning started off hazy, with just a tiny sliver of moon
high up in the sky:
And some more photos from beautiful Kaarster See:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
deine Tags so unterchiedlich sind wunderschön, das erste Tag ist wie wenn die Muse sich küsst, herrlich romantisch liegt sie da im goldener herbstlichen Flair!!!

ReplyDeleteYou always have such stunning (and variety!) of photos.
ReplyDeleteLove your tags. Need to get in the Hallowe'en mood myself.
I love your tags. Muchas women are so stylish and sensual. The Halloween tag is so fun especially the black kitty with the googly eyes. So glad you were able to sit outside to enjoy your coffee. This week's photos are stunning. The close-up of the crescent moon is breath-taking and I love the reflection of the sky in the lake. Have a Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteThe tags are amazing, the top one is so elegant and beautiful and the bottom one so full of whimsy. Your photos are also lovely.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful tags Valerie, so different in style and equally gorgeous. Great photos as always and glad to see you're feeling like coffee again :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Fliss xx
Gorgeous tags Valerie, the textures and the wonderful leaf additions to the first one are fantastic. I also loved the Halloween tag, its a great image of the witch, she looks like she is about to party.
ReplyDeleteYou would be blown away here, if you were to sit outside today. So pleased you could sit and enjoy your coffee in the sunshine.
The photos are as always wonderful to see.
Happy T day wishes.
Yvonne xx

You are right. I am excited about this new challenge at TT. Your autumn tag is just gorgeous. Adding the leaves is a cool idea. And the Halloween tag is fun. Sitting outside with a drink is always enjoyable, and I bet if you could have sat by that lake with the pretty cloud reflections, it would have been even better. :) Ha[[y T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteYour first tag has me thinking autumn goddess and is just gorgeous!!! Loving the fun Halloween tag too. Such beautiful and peaceful looking photos of nature...
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to still get a day or two to sit outdoors with a favorite beverage. Happy T day!
Both of your tags are wonderful, but your first tag is truly elegant and sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteThe photos around the lake were beautiful, but my favorite was the one that looked like a you were walking under a canopy of trees. I can see autumn has truly arrived here.
It's great that your weather is as warm as mine, at least warm enough to sit outside and enjoy your cappuccino. Thanks for sharing this time out with your cup of cappuccino, as well as your beautiful tags and great photos for T this Tuesday.
Fantastic photos, and most gorgeous tags as always.xx [aNNie]
ReplyDeleteI really love both of your tags and wow loved all the photos-great shot of the moon too. so nice to be able to sit outdoors with your coffee we are back to warmer temps too this week Happy T Day Kathy

ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
I'm all set for Autumn now after seeing your great tags and looking at your wonderful Fall photo's. Always enjoyable to visit you.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely tags Valerie. And what great shots of the moon in all its glory. It looks very Fall like around here too.. finally... Sitting here wishing my coffee looked like your coffee... but i am enjoying a beatutiful sunrise.. Happy T day! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous art deco tag, Valerie! The "creepy beware" one is very cute. But I don't know what a BG is. Now I'm curious and trying to think of something with initials BG. This may keep me awake nights ;-) Love the googly eyes on the cat and skull - lol.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful photos. You could be a professional photographer. I especially like the way you capture light and huge color ranges like sunrises and sunsets. I wonder if it comes naturally or if you work hard to get those shots.
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
BG= background! I enjoy taking photos, thanks for the nice words!
DeleteWhat wonderful tags! I love Mucha and the image and colours you chose are perfect for autumn. It's such a happy coincidence that we are going to see the Mucha exhibition at a Gallery in Liverpool next week 😁. Your Halloween tag is so much fun, the cat made me smile - I love it! Wishing you a very Happy T Day! J 😊
ReplyDeleteLucky you, have fun, wish they'd do an exhibition here!
DeleteLove these tags. The first is so delicate and the second makes me smile:)
ReplyDeleteI never had a great desire to visit Germany until I started following your blog and tagging along on your walks. Now I'd really enjoy having the opportunity to visit your neck of the woods.
Hugs
PS Great moon shot:)
ReplyDeleteGreat seasonal tags!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your photos of the Kaarster See. Especially that canopy of tres. Beautiful. I'm glad you had such a lovely weekend.

This Autumn goddess is a beauty! The organic looking details added are perfection. I love the big eyes on the cat. So whimsical! The moon photos are so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour pieces today are both very fallish and a bit spooky, even your gorgeous autumn lady! I like them both very much!
ReplyDeleteAhhh Valerie! That first tag is Exquisite!! Perfect additions to that graphic- I love Mucha!
ReplyDeleteYour Halloween tag is a stitch- what a great witch- sexy!

Fab tags Valerie, brilliant idea to use the real leaves, and all cats should have googly eyes! xx
Sabine
