Hi Everybody!
On Tuesday we are beginning new challenges at
Tag Tuesday and at More Mixed Media.
At Tag Tuesday our lovely Wendy is our host, and has chosen
Paris as her theme, and I know that is a theme that we
all like. For my tag I stamped a tag using a French script stamp
and some flourishes -both from LaBlanche. The Arc de Triomphe
(Artemio)was stamped with Stazon onto acetate.
The rose is a decal. I sewed it
all together. I am also linking to Simon Monday Challenge,
Stamptember. :

At More Mixed Media Challenge our theme is anything goes
with optional brown. I like brown when it's used in vintage work,
so used a family piece I recently put together, printed it
onto a T-shirt film and ironed it onto canvas. The canvas was then sewn
onto recycled cardboard from an Amazon envelope
and sewn together with some wild stitching. I coloured the edges
of the cardboard with some distress oxides and added some crackle
varnish from Deco Art. I sewed some hemp ribbon to it and
added some embellies which I fixed with a TH safety pin.
I am also linking to Art Journal Journey, Yvonne's lovely
theme of 'colour in m world'
This will be going into my family scrapbook:
And today is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here a hearty
welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang. Last week I baked
a chocolate cake with lots of chocolate chunks in it and chocolate
fondant icing. Sorry, forgot to slice it, so just cut off what you
want and enjoy:
My drink is cappuccino as always, here taken at my
fave ice parlour:
Linda Kunsman and Chris Bedford.
I have printed some new cards from some of my artwork,
and this card is up for grabs this week, so please leave a comment
if you would like to have it. There are 2 waiting to fly out,
complete with stamps, so don't be shy.
And last but not least, here are some photos of my Sunday walk
along the Rhine and through our little town:

Oh Wow I am loving your new art pieces especially the tag. I always love your walks-great photos-those flower boxes are so pretty.\Happy T Day Kathy
ReplyDeleteYour tag could be used in a tourist brouchure for Visit Paris. I love your family page. The sewing makes me think of the threads that bind families together how the various threads cross over the generations. That cake wouldn't last long in my house. As always I enjoyed the photos from your walk especially Das Schiffen. the ironwork with flowers just gorgeous. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great post. Your postcard is great, as is the family page.

Beautiful photos today, too. As always, I was drawn to the beauty of the flower boxes.
I would also like to have a piece of cake. But even more than that, I would like to join you for a cappuccino at the ice parlor.
Lovely art, beautiful photos, and cappuccino. Love it all for T this Tuesday.
What a full post today! First of all for T day I will take a BIG piece of that chocolate cake. It looks yummy, and since the hubby doesn't like chocolate cake I don't have enough of it. :) And your art is gorgeous. I think you will have a wonderful family heritage scrapbook, well you probably already have it. :) Hope you have a fantastic T day. hugs-Erika

I like the shape and design of your tag, and also that family piece. That gives me an idea about a way to manage a few of my old family photos.
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with chocolate cake and coffee :) I loved your scenic walk, and Oh! those roses!
Happy T Tuesday
I love your tag and your journal page and I'm hoping I can take part! Your chocolate cake looks delicious and perfect with a cappuccino! The photos are great once again, those roses are such a lovely shade of pink! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing artwork! I am in love and inspecting every single piece with pleasure! Wow, you've really started my morning off with beautiful inspiration. Big hugs, Autumn
