Halloween is coming nearer....

Hi Everybody!

Today I have an A4 mixed media piece to share. I used an old
calendar page, and collaged various layers in purple, gold and black,
which I sewed together. The windows and arch were stamped with
archival black, and the arch was coloured with gold and black.
Bony, the bat, and the hat and broom are die cuts.
I added more gold accents to the hinges on the shutters.
Bony Mahoney has woken up and  realised that the fun time of
year is coming nearer, and is waving to the witch Woodunnit on the
roof. They're happy to be back in business again!
I added some hologram paint over the gold card to
make it sparkle. The skellie and the hello are die cuts. The
wall has been doodled with flowers. I am linking to
Art Journal Journey, Yvonne's lovely theme of 'colour
in my world', Simon Monday Challenge, shimmer  and shine and

Some more photos of the Altstadt in Düsseldorf:

The museum we visited is in the tower next to the Church
with the crooked spire:

Here you are invited to sit down and take a selfie:

This 'clock' measures the height of the water in the Rhine:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. I can't believe that Halloween will be here before we know it. I like you getting the jump on this holiday that I think more in the US celebrate than do in Europe. I really like Bony Mahoney.

I really enjoyed this visit to the Altstadt. I remember you sharing the church with the crooked spire before, too. I like the abstracts in the window of the church and spire. I also enjoyed the area where you could take a selfie. So where is YOUR selfie (grin)? Hope you are having a great day.
