TSFT, Tiot and more....

Hi Everybody!

Tuesday is Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday party,
and we are beginning a new challenge
at TIOT - Botanical.
As always, projects of all formats are welcome
and you have 2 weeks to link up your creations -
Hope to see lots of you there!

At Tag Tuesday - birds and nests - you still have a week
to join us!

For TIOT I made a mixed media spread in my 2nd new journal.
The background was gessoed, and the rest stenciled
and collaged. I added more colour with oil pastels
and a Dyelusions quote:

I am also linking to Simon Monday Challenge, things with wings.

Here I would like to welcome all the nice ladies of the
T Gang.
Last Tuesday I went on a little outing to a chocolate
shop in the old town. They serve drinking
chocolate in all variations in a Paris-type
bistro-cafe, and there is a second room where they
sell delicious chocolate specialities to take home -
truly a little paradise on earth!

A chocolate fountain:

'Give in to your longing for chocolate without complexes
or false shame. Remember, no sensible human being is
without a spark of madness'

I had a white chocolate flavoured with espresso:

My neighbour had milk chocolate with peppermint:

'Chocolate is a feeling of happiness which is touchable,
understandable and above all edible'

Hope you enjoyed your little outing with me!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Even though chocolate isn't my favorite flavor, I love how it smells and I can't resist a shop with really good chocolate. It looks like you found a winner! What a delightful stop!

  15. I loved the botanical pages you created in your new journal. The theme is perfect for this time of year, and you have captured botanicals perfectly.

I'm in LOVE with that restaurant/bistro. Your white chocolate espresso looks good enough to drink, and your neighbor's milk chocolate, peppermint espresso looks equally good. That place would be a not-too-be-missed visit. Thanks for taking us with you for espresso and botanical art for T this Tuesday.

  22. Your journal page is so beautiful! I love the colours, the textures and the quote (and the butterfly). I guess that is everything. Yes, I like everything about it.
Thank you for taking us to the chocolate bistro. What a gorgeous place. It looks so pretty with the beautiful interior. I noticed the traditional painting on the doors of the counter. And those little design details like the clock on the wall. And then that little bit of chocolate paradise.... the room that sells the choccies. Yummmm. My lovely hubby used to work in a chocolate factory (Cadbury's) and we always had lots of chocolate in the house. He would come home smelling of it. In spite of that, we still love chocolate! But we prefer the bitter dark chocolate. And my favorite is chilli chocolate.
    Happy T-Day
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  23. Wow! Love this journal spread - those gorgeous napkins give such great texture! As for the chocolate shop - it looks fabulous - I could probably cause myself a lot of damage there so I will just enjoy scrolling back and forth over your photos! I do still allow myself a little chocolate treat occasionally - my diabetic nurse is OK with this as long as I don't go mad!!!! I think it would be hard to choose here though! I would be happy to sit here, it looks a great place and the aroma must be wonderful! Hugs, Chrisx
