Hi Everybody!
For Paint Party Friday, hosted by Eva and Kristin, I have a large
mixed media piece in A2 (24x17") which I made
recently . The background was painted in red, with blue and purple accents added on with a textured brayer. I added lots of paper
fragments and some gold leaf. The heads were cut from white paper,
painted, stenciled and collaged.
The flying figures were added with a stencil and black Edding pen,
highlighted with white.
I m also linking to Art Journal Journey, Yvonne's lovely theme
of out and about.
A few photos from the past couple of days:
Love this bench, the sign says 'reserved for nice meetings'
Have a great day, take care,
and hanks a lot for coming by!

Your lovely journal page makes me think that two heads are better than one. I really enjoyed this one, especially the Eiffel tower.
ReplyDeleteIt truly looks like spring in your world. It's so dry and brown here, I love the beauty of the flowers and greenery everywhere in your world. Have a fun day, dear, if that's possible.
There's a lot going on in that piece -- you're right about the texture. I can see it. And of course anything with an Eiffel Tower makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteYour spring is lovely. I really enjoy seeing the flowers but equally the start branches against the lovely sky.

ReplyDeleteLOVE your big red piece of art. Very clever. You are waaaaay ahead of us in the flower department. We are still experiencing winter - although at least the snow has melted into rain. Spring cannot be far away. Thanks for the spring photos -- beautiful. PS: Wish I was on that plane! hugs, Donna
ReplyDeleteLovely page for PPF! Your flower photos are so gorgeous!
Sabine
Love the art today!!!! Your Spring photos are beautiful too. Our cold snap is over and it was much warmer today with sunshine again. Predictions of ever warmer days are in the forecast. I think it got just too cold for most of the blooming daffodils to survive but there are lots that haven't gotten anywhere near to blooming yet so there will be daffies in the future ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteLovely art again, and that is quite a large size too!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see the photographs of all the flowers, I especially liked the ones on the steps.
How nice that the bench sign says 'reserved for nice meetings' ... that is brilliant.
Good wishes for Friday, and the coming weekend
All the best Jan
