This mixed media A4 piece was made last week using a
paper napkin on a painted and textured background. The dots were
sponged on using a stencil with red, orange and black paint.

I was at an African-American Museum last week and this napkin you used as the focal image brought back memories of what I saw there. This is a stunning page, and I love that you always have the best napkins! It never hurts to quote Nelson Mandela, either.

Reminds me of Kenya - very effective. I always associate the forsythia as the first real sign of spring. Stunning photography as usual

Your orange and red AJJ piece is sublime, beautifully minimalist, and the background is superb. I love the way you painted a very light touch of lilac-pink.

Oh Wow, that is an awesome page Valerie. The main image of the African people looks fabulous. I had to look twice when I read it was a napkin, it looked like a painting to me. It was a lovely quote to add to the page as well.
