Hi Everybody!
We had a warm and sunny day here, not too hot, not cold and no rain -
just great. I enjoyed my walk along the Rhine, watching the hay being
harvested and baled, and the ships chugging up and down the river.
For Art Journal Journey, masculine-feminine, and for Moo Mania and More, numbers, I have another journal page. I used an A3 sheet, painted with gesso, and then covered with frustration scribbles in blue and pink Gelatos. I blended them with a baby-wipe and then used various stencils to make the patterns and numerals to give it all a bit more depth and interest. The picture is from one of my old magazines from the 1950's, I fussy cut it, and added some paper scraps and flowers around it. The bird is a water-colour painting I made of one of 'my' jays, scanned, printed out and fussy cut.
The day started with a beautiful sunrise and sky:
I enjoyed seeing the fields and watching the men at work again:
And there were lots of Ravens walking fearlessly through the fields looking for tidbits:
Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Oh my gosh another beautiful journal page and using your jay on the page makes it really special. I also like the verse, so true, so true. Your photos today are really something. In one with the tractor you even captured the dust from the hay. BRAVO! What a joy to view your art and your photos each day!

The men driving the machines were nice, and drove slowly for me so I could get the pics!

Beautifully done Valerie!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe that is is time to harvest hay - we would buy freshly harvested hay for our goats. It smelled heavenly and the goats loved it. Sweet and tender.
Have a good weekend - they come and go so quickly!
