Feeling all Bottled up

Hi Everybody!

Another day has flown by, and I must ask the same question as so often -
where does the time go?

For Moo Mania and More if have made 'my' head as a bottle. Sometimes I think it might be good to have a glass head and be able to see what's going on inside it.
I used one of my stencils to draw the head, added the bottle neck on the top, and coloured it all in with pastel chalks. Also linking to 'Face Friday' over at Kim Dellow's Blog

I am really enjoying watching the young jays. When they want to fly, they tend to jump down with both feet together like a toddler trying to jump from a stair, and then start flapping. Okay, toddlers don't start flapping....Here are  some more photos of my visitors:

I love seeing the plants that grown in the crevices of the stones at the castle ruins:

And the paths and meadows are all full of wild flowers:

Have a lovely day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  13. Wow! The glass head is amazing. I wish I could create such an effect, you are so good at it.
The wee birdies are so cute. I can hear baby Starlings screeching in my garden, what an ugly noise they make. Not at all like the gentle twitter of the baby Sparrows. But once they've cleared the feeder they will fly elsewhere. So fickle. Lol. Have a good day :o)

  23. A bottle head! - you do think of (and paint) some interesting ideas.
Yes plants growing in wall crevices can be intriguing and they must be very tough plants to survive.

  27. Hi Valerie, my comment disappeared. I wanted you to know how clever of you to put your "all bottled up" phrase down on paper with a head shaped bottle. I know I feel that way often these days. Your petunias on your patio are gorgeous and a great backdrop for your bird photos. It has to be fun to watch them each morning. The foliage along the path you take on your walk (the one with the lantern) is overgrowing and taking over the walkway. How wonderful to see the wild flowers and such a pretty location for daily walks. It seems to change almost overnight. Enjoy the upcoming weekend. Take care of yourself and have fun creating.
    Hugs,

    C
