Hi you all!
The challenge at Moo Mania this time is 'Landscapes'. I have made a set of little gift cards using my moos. They are moo-sized prints of photos and paintings. I used my smear and brush-wipe paper from last week, which I had already crumpled up and almost binned by mistake. I think it saved distressing it! I added a bit of stamping before gluing on the moos.
Here are 2 photos and a part of a journal page I made about the 'little prince'
Here are 2 more landscapes and part of a canvas.
More landscapes.
A home made Van Gogh copy and a painted landscape.
I got the mini cards at the Euro shop, 50 for 1 € - I think they are supposed to be place cards - whatever, they were a bargain!
For my butterfly page I used another smear and wipe sheet of paper, to which I added some stamping and stenciling. The images are from Gecko Galz.
Several people asked for the template / instructions for the 'word-birds' I showed yesterday, so here it is - have fun! If you print it onto A4 paper it will have the right size. Sorry about the black marks on it, I think I need to clean the scanner glass!
Have a good Sunday, take care, and thanks for dropping in!
The moos are adorable, and I love the journal page, just wonderful. Thanks for the template too - I will have fun making birdies with the kiddies and will mail you a photo! Hugs, Sarah

Your Moos are beautiful, love the fact that you recycled it all too. The journal pages are stunning with the stamps and all the beautiful background you have going on there! ~Diane
ReplyDeleteValerie, the landscape moos are gorgeous and so peaceful! Now I love butterflies and your butterfly page is simply amazing and so much background interest! Have a lovely Sunday! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the word bird template. Can you tell me the approximate size they should be? Thanks. suzschultz23@aol.com
ReplyDeleteThe length of the bird from beak to tail is about 10cms. If you print onto an A4 sheet it should come out the right size!
ReplyDeleteI can never get over how much you can pack onto the tiny space of a Moo. Luve these sweet cards! And the journal page is beautiful.... love all the texture!
ReplyDeleteWonderful page and Moos. That sounds odd, the colours and details packed in the small size looks fantastic. The butterflies are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteTerrific idea to use the Moos on the little cards.
ReplyDeleteThe page with butterflies stands out to me and I just love the little bits of fancy edging, can't work out how you did that.
Thank you for the birdie template I was hoping you might let us in on the secret.
Now you will need a rest after all that :)

The fancy edges have been made with a stencil, I just sponged a bit of dark green ink onto them!
