Hi Everybody!
Today I have a last piece for Vicki's light challenge at AJJ, a little collage put together from my photos:
We get fresh flowers once a week, here they were in the kitchen:
And this is the one I chose:
Spring is slowly coming, although it was freezing today!
On a tree-stump in the garden I discovered this fungus which has turned to stone. On the 2nd glance, I thought it looked like a bird - can you see it, too?

Lovely collage. The cherubs made me think of a Doctor Who episode, "The Angels Take Manhattan". Your rose is so pretty. I saw the bird, too! Fun. Take care.

DeleteLove the collage. The central mouse is cute. Great sentiment. Love roses. Many years ago I tested them for Jackson and Perkins. My job was demanding so had to stop. Had more than 50 unnamed varieties in my backyard.

DeleteOh, I saw the bird, before I read your post, I always scroll through first to see the pictures, have a giggle and then pop back up top and read..I love your collage with your pictures, the beautiful roses, yellow for me, and those little buds are so brave and strong when it is still so cold, all your art work is amazing..nearly the weekend, why is the weekend so important when you retire...habit?? DeleteI just love that they give you fresh flowers every day. Am I right in thinking there is a big bouquet in the kitchen and you can each choose a flower for your own room and vase? I think that's a lovely idea. Loved all the art and memes you shared today!

DeleteHow great it is that you get fresh flowers every week, Valerie! They must bring you joy. I do see the bird in the shelf fungus. I see a Komodo dragon in the blue and green image. Love the book cover on the bus. It's been an adventure riding the buses here in Honolulu. Have a happy week!

That is a great collage and perfect for the AJJ challenge. That is something I cannot see to get right. Saw an idea on someone's blog the other day which i might try and see if it hjels me in some way.
ReplyDeleteI had some flowers delivered today and there was a fabulous rose in with them. I must get a photo as yours is so beautiful and i want to picture mine for eternity.
