Monday Post with tea, coffee and more

Hi Everybody!

The weekend goes by so quickly, so here's wishing us all a happy and healthy,  new week. My fingers are very shaky just now, so if there are some strange spelling mistakes, just ignore them!

For Vicki's 'light' challenge at AJJ I have a piece put together from 2 photos, the feather and a rusty panel. The text was added digitally:

This evening we will be celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday drink party, so I am sharing tea, books and coffee!

David Zinn again, so fabulous!

In our kitchen at the clinic:

A tray of donuts appeared - and disappeared:

A thermos for coffee and a glass for water;

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  9. Your feather in the light is stunning. It is an absolutely perfect addition to Vicki's theme at AJJ. Awe inspiring.

LOVE the heart dripping into the coffee. It is beautiful and a great idea for T this week. Of course, I love the fruit, coffee carafe, and donuts for T, too. Looks like you are being treated well at the clinic.

Love your funnies. Laughed at the mafia, and being your friend. Thanks for sharing your art, your drinks, and your funnies with us for T this Tuesday, dear Valerie.

  13. Sorry to read you are having shaky fingers right now Valerie. That is a great feather photo, and it looks great against the rust. I like the contrast of the 2 elements. And I spent part of my afternoon with a cup of tea and a book. I hope that means I have a balanced life. And I can see why those donuts disappeared. I now want one-smile. I hope your shaky fingers improve ASAP and you have a great T day and start to the week. hugs-Erika

  15. I'm sorry to read about your tremors, Valerie, and that you are back at the clinic. But I'm glad that they are taking good care of you, it seems to be a good place. Can I substitute the tea and have coffee in one hand and a book in the other? That would be truly balanced. Thanks for the reminder of the four agreements - I read that books a few years ago and liked the simplicity of it - and it is so true! Oh, I love David Zinn, he makes all this wonderful artwork. Your feather is beautiful, so delicate with the drops on it. Take good care of yourself, my friend. Happy T day and lots of hugs - Carola

  16. What is that about feathers that make them wonderful subjects? The shape? Texture? The fact that they are connected to the living? I don't know but I love your piece. Did you just casually drop in that you are back at the clinic? I hope not but trust that it is the right place to be. I'm awfully sorry about the tremors. I need to find that graphic of the Four agreements -- that's wonderful.

  21. I love that feather in the light!
Oh David Zinn, I never tire of his little surprises on streets and walls. I would love to find some of his art in real life, but I don't live anywhere near him.
The mafia meme made me smile and the four agreements should be on everybody's wall.
I hadn't realised you were back in the clinic, but by all accounts they are treating you well (donuts!). I hope things improve for you with whatever treatment they are giving you.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

  23. Oh dear Valerie, I suspected it might be time for yoou to be looked after at the clinic. I hope you managed to get a doughnut and more importantly your favourite beverage, coffee. It's an elegant coffee pot/flask.
That feather age is beautiful, I like the contrast between the feather and the rust. Texturally!
I love how the droplets on the feather really do light up the whole page.
    Gentle hugs dear Valerie
