Hi Everybody!

This evening we will be joining together for Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit here. I have another A3 painting meant as my ticket to T Day and for Elizabeth's challenge at AJJ ,whats my style:

I love your painting Valerie very much.
ReplyDeletegreat thinkies too Happy T wishes Kathy
Thanks Kathy, happy T and have a great week!
DeleteThis war in the Ukraine is not only sad but so wasteful. I just don't get why Putin thinks he will be successful. Anyhow, you know all this. I am loving that pretty tea painting this week. The purple-blue color is amazing. I hope you're doing well, and have a wonderful start to the new week. Take care my friend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika, glad you like my tea and coffee paintings, I am having fun making them! Have a great start in the week, hugs!
DeleteLove your page thanks for the thinkies!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, have a great week!
DeleteLooks like lovely day out your window.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Thaks Dora, the sun is shining today, too!
DeleteWonderful art Valerie, that glass with the plants in it looks wonderful, a little bit of the garden inside. Very sad to hear what is happening in Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, I love those garden glasses, too! Have a great week!
DeleteMy heart goes out to all who are affected by the war. I hope it will stop soon without taking any more innocent lives. Very pretty purple tea/coffee set. I like the flowers on the window ledges. Thank you for the lovely thinkies.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy. This war is so awful and unnecessary, so sad. Have a good week, stay safe!
DeleteWhen I first saw the vase in your painting, it looked like there might be a reflection of the person taking the picture. I have a vivid imagination, but I swear that's what it felt like to me. So glad you gave me a choice. Guess you know which I will pick. Thanks ever so much for sharing this lovely painting with us for T and also for Bleubeard's and my theme at AJJ.
ReplyDeleteI love the first thinkie SO much. I also wish breaking the glass would truly work in this time of war. Such a bad situation there.
Thanks E. I took the pics of the jourmal page very quickly with my smart phone, as I wanted to give it to a fellow patient who was leaving, and it made her very happy! I thought we all needed some good thinkies today. See you later!
DeleteBeautiful painting, Valerie. I admired also the lovely ladies of your previous posts.
ReplyDeleteAnd I absolutely agree that manners, kindness, respect and compassion are the signs of decent human beings. Let's hope that the madness of today's world will stop immediately. Hugs, my friend.
Thanks Mia, let's hope and pray that the madness can be stopped soon! Hugs!
DeleteI knew as soon as I saw this painting that it was yours, you have a great style. Loving the flowers too and the colours just work so well together. Such true words here today, maybe you could post them to Mr Putin! The 'Press and Seal' that I used is an American product, I've never seen it in the shops here and get it from Amazon. I'm going to be doing more with it again soon as I'm doing a class at my Craft Club soon. Take care and have a lovely week. Hugs, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteThanks Angela, I'm having fun making these T day paintings. I will see if I can get Press n seal here on Amazon, that would be good. Thanks for the info! Have fun with your class at the craft club!
DeleteHi Valerie, if your interested I've put some links on the post now to show you other ways of using the 'Press and Seal' Hugs, Angela xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Angela, I will pop over to your blog later!
DeleteGood morning Valerie: As always your painting of a tea and coffee event is charming and bears the imprimatur of good taste and civility, nicely rendered and recognizable immediately as your style. I know which beverage will be your choice du jour, every jour in fact. The madness and the sadness in Ukraine defies comprehension. The fact that Trump and many republicans, and right-wing news organizations in the United States are actively supporting this insane act is an indication of how much the world has turned upside down. If the republicans gain control of both houses of congress, democracy will be dead in America. It is moribund now. They will doubtless then have their own Putin. If Putin is not stopped quickly, China will be emboldened to invade Taiwan, having already strangled Hong Kong, and the world order will change radically. The thought of a demonic madman like Putin putting his nuclear capability on high alert is really terrifying. There were brave people who tried to assassinate Hitler and one can only hope that similar plans are afoot in Russia, with better results. We'd both better have another coffee to calm our nerves! Hugs and kisses, David
ReplyDeleteHi David, gld ou like my tea servce. I'm having fun making these quick paintings. Im off coffee today, I drank coffee with bad milk in it and felt really bad after t, so its water and cola light today! This madness in the world makes me very nervous, why are these huge nations so obsessed with getting more land? And as for Trump and his cronies admring what Putin has done, well - no polite words to describe that! Im off for a midday nap, didnt sleep well. Have a great day, stay safe, BIG hugs!
DeleteSorry for the typos!
DeleteI love your painting and the chubby teapot is just wonderful! I love painting teapots and cups too. And flowers! Your last thinkie with the dove brought tears to my eyes.

DeleteWindow ledges for plants is a lovely feature. I'm wishing all my windows had them :) Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteYou and me, too!
DeleteLovely coffee and tea service you painted. Nice thinkies, too. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteThanks CJ, happy T Day!
DeleteYou are so right about the senselessness of Russia's attack on its neighbor, and the extreme waste of lives and property. The displacement of many people will take a long recovery, even if the negotiations have some success (which is a vain hope).
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
