T sTands for Tuesday on Monday!

Hi Everybody!

I hope you all survived the weekend and the big storms, Zeynep and Ylenia which affected Europe and other parts . We had some internet outages and a few trees in the park were damaged, but many other places had much more damage. You can see newspaper photos here and here. I am not allowed to show them here because of the copyright.

Today we are celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link ParTy, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit here. I have another coffee painting, but  don't like it as much as the one I did last week. Perhaps next week I will manage a tea painting! This is my TickeT for the party and also my entry for Elizabeth's what's my style challenge at AJJ.

And this is my huge cup of cappuccino on the window ledge in my room:

There is always something to eat in the kitchen, which is bad for week willed people like me!

A funny:

Love this:

The flowers in the corridors here:

I'll be back tomorrow with a new challenge at Tag Tuesday!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

I do like your art, it's so nice and colourful.
Talking of colour, aren't those tulips lovely, such beautiful colours.

  3. I love the vase in your latest coffee piece. Those flowers in it look so wild and free and like they are growing even in the vase. And you can't go wrong with polka-dots. And I would be very weak willed also. Too many yummy choices to snack on. But I would love the flowers. I hope you have a wonderful start to the new week and T day too Valerie. hugs-Rtika

  11. Good morning Valerie: I think it would be a good idea to install tread mills in the clinic too, so that you could work off some of the calories consumed after each five-minute visit to the kitchen! Right now, perhaps, your sore body after the fall would not take too kindly to vigorous exercise. Your coffee painting is bright and colourful and your rain barrel of cappuccino looks delicious. I suspect you have to be close to the bathroom when you quaff that volume of liquid! And caffeine is a diuretic after all. Yesterday, it was stormy and snowy here, but nothing like the series of storms you have been experiencing in Europe. It is amazing but not surprising that some demented religionists are babbling on, foaming at the mouth almost, about god's punishment for our sinful ways, totalling ignoring that it is our stupid ways that have interfered with the climate so much. These are the same people who are waiting to be snatched from their cars and raptured up to heaven! Of course, they know they have already been selected! I know what I would select them for! Today we are having lunch with old friends, the male of the pair having been diagnosed with colon cancer. It may be a little sombre. Take good care of yourself, watch out for windy corners (no more falls), and catch all the kisses and hugs I am sending. Don't miss one!

    1. Hi David, we so have a treadmill in the Wintergarden, but only the think people seem to use it! Good that all the rooms Here have en suite bathrooms with the amount of Coffee I drink! Those religious idiots who think that way are dreadful, my sister belonged to that brigade! Don't make me say what I think about them! Have a good evening with your friends, Hope all goes well. Big hugs!

  15. Yesterday I fell asleep with earplugs because the wind was raging, the roof tiles stayed on the roof - but it's also a new roof - and the trees that could have fallen have already been cleared away. But I think it's done... and we'll be enjoying spring soon.
I love your happy good morning coffee picture...in the morning with a cup of coffee on the terrace and welcoming the sun, wind or rain and being one with the world. Splendid.

  28. I absolutely adore the wonderful coffee cup, pot, and flowers you shared. I see some of the flowers are trying to creep out of the pot toward the coffee. This is a beautiful painting and I know that painting and coffee are your style, too. Thanks for sharing this at AJJ using Bleubeard's and my theme.

Those pastries look great. I am weak when it comes to anything sweet. They look wonderful/

LOVE that cat. That is amazing. Sage advice had me laughing. Long time cumin, too. You have some beautiful tulips. Thanks for sharing your cappuccino, your breads and sweets, and your tulips with us for T this Tuesday, dear. Sorry I am running late. Both boys are better. I gave them cat food that was either bad (out of date) or they didn't like, so both of them got rid of it. I got rid of the rest of the can.

  31. Your page is so colourful and bright. It brightened up my day. As did the herby funnie that was a long thyme cumin. Really funny!
Yes, that storm has run havoc in Holland as well as the UK. I heard from our children in the UK and from my mum in Holland. I get very nervous with weather like that after a good friend of ours was killed in her car when a large tree fell on it. (and that was a freak storm in July!!)
Lovely flowers . I love tulips and have bought a small bunch at Lidls and they are still going strong since more that a week.
Weal willed? I am too when it comes to sweet goodies. Don't feel guilty.

  32. We've had storms here and all is well! Glad that you are ok and I hope your stay is a good one, I don't think I'd be visiting the kitchen too often as there is too much temptation, I know I wouldn't be able to resist (grin) 😁. The flowers are beautiful and cheery, just like your painting with its beautiful colours and composition. Take care and sending you Happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x

  34. I love your tea painting, but that cat on the roof just slays me! It seems ready to take a swipe and the poor unsuspecting pedestrian! And OMG too much good food to see as well. Not good for me as I am also quite weak willed sometimes. I have really been enjoying seeing so many different styles with this AJJ challenge. It's been VERY inspirational.

  35. We didn't suffer with any of the storms thank goodness but a friend of mine in Sheffield had the pebble dash fall off her gable end (top half of it) due to the storm. She and hubby were out at 11.45 pm sorting the mess out.
That's a lovely painting Valerie. I like the blue you have used for the background and those flowers are so pretty. A lovely setting for someone to sit down and enjoy a drink.
Think I would be like you, weak willed, especially with those cakes and pastries - too yummy to leave.
Aren't there some clever talented people - the cat painting is fantastic. I love seeing these paintings on buildings, very interesting.
Take care, hope you are improving daily.
    Hugs, Neet xx
