Tuesday / Wednesday Post

Hi Everybody!

Hope the first week of 2022 is going well for you.

Today I have another piece for Erika's lets face it challenge at AJJ, another animal face:

And for Michele's time/ clocks theme at Tag Tuesday I have another tag. The verse is part of a hymn written by Isaac Watts back in the 17th century:

Time Like an ever rolling stream
Bears all it's sons away;
They fly forgotten as a dream
Dies at the opening  day.

We used to sing the hymn at school  and Church services.

The photos were taken on this day lasst year:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  7. I wax about to go and wash my face but I think I will have that friendly dog come and lick it clean instead! Great job, Valerie. I think a fitting subject for a piece such as this would be Boris Johnson. He would be much better as a tousled dog, with humans to keep him under control so he could do no harm, and maybe even have him groomed once in a while. He has the dopy grin of a slobbering hound don't you think? The hound, of course, has far greater intelligence and empathy. The words you cite from the hymn are so true. People live and people die and there really isn't anything more to life than that. Your sky shots are dramatic and the snow on the ground quite lovely. Winter still has us in its grip, but by the end of January I will already notice the days getting longer. Be on your best behaviour at the clinic and they will work on getting you better! Hugs and kisses. David

    1. Hi David, that puppy will gladly lick you clean. Some years back my dog had 8 babies. I was somehow licked and peed on all day! But they were so cute! Well, m sure most dogs are much more intelligent than many world rulers, and they would be less expensive, too! And as for Boris, what a miserable specimen of humanity! We had art therapy this morning, very nice, and later I have physio therapy, which hurts, but does good. And lots of tablets, too, and blood pressure measured 3 times a day and Corona tests every few days, but I hope it will help. And the coffee is excellent! Have a great day, hugs!

    Your little dog is adorable, he makes me feel warm and fuzzy even as I look out of the window at the snow. What a lovely little dog he is.
