T sTands for This and That

Hi Everybody!

Hope you enjoyed your weekend and here's wishing us all a good week!

Today I have another piece for  Erika's challenge  at AJJ The lovely lady was a freebie from The Graphics fairy, the background was hand- painted and the text was added digitally:

And today we are also starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, where Wendy is hosting with the theme 'add fabric'. The challenge goes live at 9 p.m. this evening. I have made a digital tag using a painting of mine and some lace:

And today is also  Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T gang who visit here:

My cup is always filled with coffee:

Saturday was cold and grey:

The Rhine is slowly going down again although bushes and trees are still under the water:

Here I caught a glimpse of the sunrise from my window, taken through the insect netting:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

I'm glad you can get out for walks. I hope you have a wonderful T day and lots of wonderful cups of coffee this new week. Hugs-Erika

  7. Hi Val, good morning. Have a good start in the new week. Hope your weekend was good, and that you are feeling a bit better. I've got a quiet day today, so will try to catch up on housework. Have a wonderful Monday, hugs from us all, Sarah

  8. This woman looks sweet and angelic, Valerie, virginal and innocent! And I thought that was an extinct subspecies! Just shows what I know. I am rereading a book called "One River" by Wade Davis (fabulous book) and there are plants in the Amazon headwaters that pack several times the amount of caffeine as coffee, and I immediately thought of you. What a boost you would get with a drink made from that stuff! You'd be flying high the whole day! Better stick to cappuccino perhaps. I am wondering if the shadow in the picture ever found its owner! This morning it is minus twenty here. Tomorrow I will be leading a bird walk, so I hope it warms up at least a little. Frozen fingers are not good for adjusting binoculars! Stay warm and well fed and whatever the doctors tell you. Hugs and kisses, David.

    1. Hi David. I think women like that are rare these days! I will see if I can get that book on Kindle, Normal books are too small for me to see these days. Well, not the books but the print! Today it's 6° + and sunshine - very Pleasant! I hope you have better temps tomorrow for your bird walk, we don't want all your vital parts to freeze! Like fingers and noses.... We are very well fed here, and always a kitchen full of delicious snacks and coffee! Big hugs to you and Miriam!

  10. I love the way you combined the freebie with the painting, so cleverly done. I'm wondering what Yoda is up to sitting on the wall! I didn't realise until now how close you are to the river, hope it continues to go down. Here in Lincolnshire they have to keep an eye on water levels as much of the land is very flat and likely to flood. Love how you used the lace too. Have a good week. Hugs, Angela xXx

    1. Thanks Angela. Yoda on the town wall surprised me, too, not a normal decoration!! I remember the high water problems in Lincolnshire well.

  17. The faces page looks like it could be a book jacket. It looks very cold down by the river. You definitely would need a hot cup of coffee. Tea for me, please. Happy T Day

  19. Cold and grey is all around us -- though we had a few hours of sunshine this morning. I wish we had been able to get to Florida but our trip wasn't practical with all the issues that are ongoing now. I hope you will have a good week.

  28. What a lovely young lady. Demure was the word that sprang to mind (other people mentioned it too). I have not read that C.S.Lewis book but I know what it's about
The tag based on your own artwork is beautiful too.
I always enjoy your photos. The Rhine is still very high!
It was a lovely surprise to see Yoda on the wall!
I liked the image with the lamb (and the quote) but my attention went to the beautifully handknitted jumper.
Happy T-Day to you and I hope that your health improves steadily. (I assume you are still at the clinic)
