T Stands for a new challenge aT Tag Tuesday

Hi Everybody!
Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

This evening we will be starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday and this time I am hosting with the theme of Steampunk, so hope to see lots of you joining in. Thanks to Michele who hosted the last challenge and to all who joined in. As always, tags of all formats are welcome, and you have 2 weeks to join us. I used a die cut tag and elements from Serif, Gecko Galz and LaBlanche:

Today is also Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, where we share a drink with all the nice ladies of the T Gang. My drink is, as always, coffee. I didn't get round to visiting you all last week, I was just too ill, sorry. This week will be back to normal!

And some funnies/thinkies:

African pigmy goats:

And a few pics taken on this day 2012:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. Happy early T day Valerie. Glad to hear you are still feeling better. Nice coffee cups too. And steampunk is a fun new challenge, and your tag is a great example for this theme. The zipper along the bottom is a great border, and it looks very very cool. I hope you had a nice weekend, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed you keep feeling better. Hugs-Erika

  6. Serif, Gecko, Galz and LaBlanche! That sounds like the name of a high-priced and overtly aggressive legal firm, Valerie! Can you even imagine receiving a phone call from Serif, Gecko, Galz and LaBlanche? You'd be trembling in your boots, especially if Galz was turned loose on you. Gecko might not be quite so bad. But for you they represent nothing but components of the divine expression of your creative flair. I am glad to see you back in the saddle, raring to go as you host this week's activities. Even a few days without you created a chasm in our week. Coffee and wine are fine drinks of course. I will match you cup for cup with the coffee and since I know that you are forbidden to touch even a drop of alcohol I promise to have an extra glass of wine for you. It's the least I can do! Take good care of yourself. Hugs and kisses, David.

  17. I am glad you are feeling better. That is good news. Your steampunk tag is wonderful. I love that you included that zipper. It's unique, but goes well with the concept of steampunk.

That is a beautiful blue and pink coffee cup and saucer set. I like the cat chasing the mouse, but won't let the boys see it, in case they decide to chase the stuffed mice that are all over the dining room floor.

I thought your funnies were very appropriate, especially the one about the password. And I loved seeing those snow covered flowers from 2012. Really lovely look back at days gone by. Thanks for sharing your art, funnies, photos, and coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear Valerie. Just thrilled you are feeling better, dear.

  18. I'm sorry that you were so ill and am glad that you are feeling better. I wasn't around last week, so I didn't notice. - I'm usually not a big fan of Steampunk, but I do like your tag. Is that a real zipper?

    1. Thanks Carola. The Zipper is a photo of a real one, digitally added. Have a great week!

What a great theme: Steampunk. I like it! (although I don't make tags. Perhaps I should...)
Loving the cups. Especially the navy one with the dots.
Your funnies and thinkies are really good. Yes, I'm one of those that remembers my childhood tel number and not the passwords. I have now started to use that number as a password. Sorted!
The one about the hearing is so true too (and funny of course) I actually know someone like that.
    Happy T-Day,
    keep smiling,
