New Challenge at TIOT

Hi Everybody! 

Today we are starting a new challenge at TIOT and our theme is

🌷💐🌸Say it with flowers🌺🌻🌼

As always, you have 2 weeks to link to us, and projects of all formats are welcome.

I made a hybrid piece with elements from Serif and me on a hand-painted background:

    What long legs you have, dear (grin). Seriously, I love your flower entry for TioT. It looks like you dried and pressed some of your own flowers, too. It's stunning.

    I wish I did better with steampunk. It's just not a theme I have ever been comfortable with. I absolutely LOVE your tag and the sentiment, especially. I love that you equated memories to time machines.

    I remember those incredible photos from 2015. I remember the icy leaves especially. This was an amazing look back and it brought back memories of those times, too. Thanks for sharing your art and your incredible photos of past events with us as a second look on the 2nd. BTW, I am not able to link you at Inlinkz, even though I tried to.

    Saying it with flowers is always a good thing. Mind you, in these parts we would be pretty silent at this time of year if we had to say it with flowers! Maybe by the end of the month! Yesterday was gloomy here, and I was only outside for about a half hour the whole day, unusual for me. I can't say that I achieved a whole lot indoors so I am not quite sure what I did! Going back six years for your pictures is really mining the archives, Valerie. You must have them all well organized so that you can access them readily. Soon you will be out and about capturing brand new images. In the meantime stay well and stay safe. Don't let COVID anywhere near you. Hugs and kisses, David.

      You're right there, winter flowers are scarce. But here the tulips and daffodils and many other early plants are blooming, we even have daisies on the lawn! I always organise my photos and painting, wish I could be so tidy outside of the computer! Next Thursday the 11th, I will be going home, and then can be out and about a lot more than now, and that will be great. On the other hand I will have to do my own cooking and housework!     I really love your journal page this week. That image is a classic and you used it beautifully!
