Weekend post with rust and more

Hi Everybody!

Just a quickie post today to show another tag for Sandie's 'Industrial' theme at Tag Tuesday. I made another hybrid tag using an image from Dezinaworld, digitally cut out and placed over 2 of my photos:

This is a digital spread made some time back and forgotten, using a beautiful image from The Graphics Fairy, combined with elements from Serif and me.

And some photos from my walks this week:

Some men were working clearing the water under a little bridge near the Rhine, and these rusty bike parts had all been pulled out:

Horses at the farm. They look like they're waiting for something:

I love this old pump house:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. Hi Val, good morning! Glad I caught this before we set of - we're visiting my mum again this weekend and the kids are all excited. LOVE that beautiful, rusty tag, and the peaceful journal page with the golden orioles, they are so lovely. Great photos, as always, you get around so much. I need to walk more but never have the time! Enjoy your weekend, hugs, Sarah

  4. Love the gears on the industrial tag, but the images of the birds makes my heart sing. The goldfinches have returned to my bird feeder. So much color along your walk, the flowering trees and the florist's shop. Enjoy your day!

  6. Unbelievable. That tag is out of this world. You had me at rust. I love the industrial feel to this tag. I really LOVE the birds, too. I like the way you digitally combined the elements. It is stunning.

I enjoyed your walk, the birds, the horses, and the flowers and cherry blossoms, BUT the rusty bike parts got my heart pumping. If I had that gear/sprocket from the bike, I'd be wrapping fabric around it and leaving it in the sun for a few days (grin). Hope you are feeling well.

  7. Loving the digital art today. Nice tag and the bird page is lovely. Hope your fingers are improving? I love seeing all the spring views and I also enjoyed the calcified bits of that rusty bike. It almost looks like coral growing on it. Happy weekend. Hope you get lots of walks. Hugs-Erika

  16. Fantastic tag, just love the rusty look. I saved a load of rusty bits when we lived in Wales, and my husband who is very UNTIDY, threw them in the skip. Boy was he in trouble.
