Back to the Middle Ages, part 3

Hi Everybody!

Today I am continuing with the photos from Burg Linn:


A coot on its nest in the middle of the water:



The grounds surrounding the castle now have various uses - some of it is farmed, there is a riding stable and lots of beautiful allotments:










The signs are still written in the old German script:

  5. I enjoyed the armchair tour this morning with my cuppa. Such beautiful scenery. I love the brick work on the old buildings and the cheery banners or shutters. Gorgeous shade of blue on the duck's head. Enjoy your weekend.

  17. Such a wonderful place and fantastic photos, both of the buildings and the surrounding wild life and pastures! I would love to visit there one day! Spring seems so much further along there than it is here in the north....
