Hi Everybody!

this month with optional red. As always, you have 4 weeks to link to us,
and I am looking forward to seeing what you create.
I made an A3 page, the background was brayered with gesso mixed with a little red. I used a roll stamp to add some BG text, and then pasted part of a serviette (thanks G!) to add more interest . The figures and birds were
stenciled with black ink, as was 'dreams'. I am also linking
to Simon Wednesday challenge, anything goes.
A beautiful sunrise:
And our Sunday surprise - snow and icy temps!
Never had snow on my marigolds before!
Snowflakes in a spider's web:
I'm having internet problems today, so want to get this scheduled before it disappears again!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Lovely artwork - and lovely photos. We just got 4 inches of snow - will have to go out soon and shovel!
ReplyDeleteI love the silhouettes of the birds like dreams taking flights. Cold here, no more snow, but snow still on the ground. Oh, the poor marigolds. Hope they don't freeze. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteWonderful journal page, love the soft colours and silhouettes. Really lovely. Great photos, too, I've never seen snow on marigolds before either, too funny! Have a nice evening, hugs, Sarah

beautiful art and amazing photos!!!
ReplyDeleteThose plants must wonder what's going on. I am sure they believed it to be spring. And I am loving your mixed media piece today. That is a gorgeous napkin and it makes such a beautiful spring page...we could all use that now-probably your marigolds more than anything. :) Happy new week. Hugs Erika
ReplyDeleteI hope my poor marigolds survive!
DeleteThe snow looks so lovely, with all the trees sticking through! <3 - http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com
ReplyDeleteYour dreams may well come true now that you have created this fabulous mixed media entry. It is beautiful. Those stencils are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWere it not for the lone leaf in those first photos of the snow and ice, I would have thought these were black and white photos. Such cold, snow, and ice mixed in with the beautiful flowers I hope survive this latest cold spell.
Lovely page and lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteSNOW! How beautiful is that....never experience it myself.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and gorgeous mixed media.xx ♥[aNNie]

Love Chrissie xx
So artsy and pretty! Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “Anything Goes” Challenge! Beautiful colors and design. Well done!
Sabine

ReplyDeleteThe snow on the marigold does make for a beautiful picture- though the flower must have been chilly!
