 Hi Everybody!

Just a short post, This Covid is making me a bit crazy. I coughed all  night, I hope the neighbours didn't think that I had a large dog barking!

Today is Elizabeth's 2nd on the 2nd where we show things that we have posted previously. These were all made and posted in 2019 /20

  6. Your 2nd on the second art always puts a smile on my face like a photo album looking back on family photo's. I really adore that starry night Tag..
So sorry to read you have caught Covid Valerie please make sure you rest and take plenty of fluids. Treat yourself guilt free to your favourite foods. When I had it I watched lots of movies I had seen so many times before as the brain fog would try and steal my train of thought so something familiar was easy to focus on.
I hope you can find love and energy to keep creative this weekend, take care of yourself & I wish you a speedy recovery. Hugs Tracey xx

  9. COVID is no fun, Valerie. Not that I have ever had it, and earnestly hope to keep that string alive, but one doesn’t have to cut off one’s ear to know that it’s painful, does one? I hope that you are able to fight it off with vigour and banish it to the field of the vanquished. You’d think, wouldn’t you, that in an age when we can destroy an entire hospital with a guided missile, while barely interrupting our morning coffee, we could obliterate a little virus, wouldn’t you? If only it were that simple! As you will have noted by now, I have returned from Cuba, basking in the joy of another fine journey. More will follow as I begin to blog about the experience, but I have a visitor from Australia here, and we will be visiting my daughter on the weekend, so there is not a whole lot of time. I will, however, keep up with you. Hugs and kisses - David

  10. Wait a minute -- did I miss something? Covid? Oh no, Valerie. It sounds grim. Are you able to get on any of the drugs like the paxlovid or monoclonal antibodies to help alleviate it and speed up the recovery? Please take care. I worry about you. Amazed you got up a post at all. Sending loads and loads of get well wishes.

  18. What horrible news. I suspect you got it on that bus/tram where no one was masked. I hoe you are better soon, dear friend.

I love your various second looks. It's good to see so many of these beauties again. Thanks for sharing them with us as your second look on the 2nd, dear.

I got a "failed to publish," but I will keep trying until it publishes.

  21. Such a lot of exceptional art work to enjoy (in fact I will go back and look again, taking my time) but I have to say the first one reminds me of that building across the water in Dusseldorf. I have no idea what it is but I remember it having similar figures climbing up the walls. Love the girl with the rosy cheeks very much, such a brilliant drawing and the way you have painted her in is beautiful. Right, on my way back to the top.
Gentle Hugs, hoping you get well soon
    Neet xx
