Hi Evetybody!
It's the middle of the week already, time is flying again! I have an appointmnet with my neurologist on the other side of town, and I'm not sure when I will be back. I will try to catch up with commenting as soon as I am home.
Today I am sharing a recycled tag placed on a recycled and gold painted cardboard background, and meant for Pinky's anything goes challenge at Tag Tuesday and Elizabeth's recycling challenge at AJJ:
The tag was cut, peeled and painted with gold paint. It was placed onto a leftover strip of Mirri card and glued to the background:
Some thinkies / funnies:
Zen cat:
And a few spring photos:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
A beautiful tag and lovely Spring photographs.
ReplyDeleteHope your appointment with the neurologist goes well.
Sending my good wishes.
All the best Jan

Deletei hope that your visit with the doctor went well!
DeleteThanks, it went well!
DeleteNow that is a statement of environmental ethic - recycling on top of recycling! And very nice results, Valerie. I hope that your journey to the other side of town went smoothly and that your neurologist was the dispenser of good news. Your nerves might have been frazzled after the long journey! After temperatures near thirty just a few days ago, yesterday we had snow. Now, that's enough to get on anyone's nerves! Tomorrow we have friends coming for lunch so I will have to decide what I will make and get out today and shop for ingredients. I'm leaning towards Chicken Cacciatore, pasta and Greek Salad. That sounds like a good lunch to me. Of course we will need a little wine to help it all go down and settle in the right places. I would pick up cannolis for dessert but they have already told me that they will bring "something sweet." Take good care, hug Heike, hug Heike again for me, drink coffee, eat pastries, walk well, enjoy birdsong, sleep soundly. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteThanks David, as you can see, I am making the most of my old Cardboard boxes and envelopes. Here we had no snow, but sunshine and icy temperatures, and I nearly froze on the way to the doc's. So when I got home I needed hot coffee, a sandwich and a long nap! Your lunch plans sound very good, save me a portion, and I wonder what they will bring for dessert? And some nice wine to go with it, great! And perhaps a coffee afterwards? I look forward to your report ! Hugs! xxxxx
DeleteI not only love your pretty and romantic tag Valerie, but it looks amazing on the cardboard. It's so pretty. And boy do you have lots of beautiful spring blooms. They are gorgeous. And you meme with Denzel is spot on, and also the one about letting the little things live too. They really run the whole natural world. Have a great Wednesday. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. The flowers everywhere are gorgeous, but it's soooo cold! Hugs!

DeleteGood luck with your visit to the neurologist.
ReplyDeleteLove the Victorian tag you have made, there is something about the victorian scraps that warm the soul when you see them. I must say I love the card you stuck the tag to with all that gold on it, such lovely texture.
Great photos and thinkies, but then if Denzil Washington is included in anything it's a 12/10 for me.
Hugs, Neet xx
Thanks Neet, Denzil Washington is a great type!
DeleteI especially like the use of lace and the wee rosettes on your Victorian tag!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra, glad you like it! Hugs!
DeleteGorgeous tag art ~ so creative and lovely photography and what fun 'comics' ~ lol
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI hope you feel better. I love your tag and the funnies made me laugh. Your photos are so beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteYour tag is lovely -- but those blooms rock! Unbelievably beautiful. Hope all was well with the appointment!
ReplyDeleteThe blooms are in neighbour's garden, always a great display!
DeleteWhat a gorgeous tag - I like it as a tag only as as on the recycled background.
ReplyDeleteToday's Thinkies are great, and I especially like the quote by Denzel Washington. I would LOVE to see that "trend" come back. The world would be a much nicer place to live in. Have a lovely rest of the week, Valerie.
Oh yes, a civilized world would be great!
DeleteOnce again the Neurologist ... and all the way across town. I hope all goes well and that he/she has good news for you. Your tag is adorable and here, here to recycle :) Your garden shots are awesome and there is a rufus colored bird I have not seen before ... can you tell me what it is? Yay for Denzel, he's got it right (and is he putting on a little weight?). The "Step over Ants, etc" is perfect and the way I live my life and LOL "I see people my own age, etc " so true, but would never admit it in public :)
ReplyDeleteAll in all a fun post, Valerie ... Hope you are doing well ...

That's the way it is! I have to make an appointment for other things, too, this will keep me occupied. The lovely bird is a jay, this one loves nothing on my balcony and has a good appetite. Yes, Denzel has put on weight, so have I! Have a great week, hugs!
DeleteThe spring photos are so beautiful!! I laughed at the underwear funny, been there hee hee!!! Your tag looks so Victorian, very lovely Valerie! ♥
