Hi Everybody!
Today I have a new painting to share. It's an A3 size, painted as always with acrylics. I am linking to Nicole's FFO and to Gillena's Friday art fun:
Some funnies/ thinkies:
Some photos of the sunrise:
I am still in the clinic and will be here for another few weeks!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Apols for being MIA, the group and DT work keeps me so busy but love your art and hope you are feeling better, big hugs xx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, have a great weekend!
DeleteLovely art vj. Nice sunrise clicks.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better now.
Thanks so much Ashok, have a great weekend!
DeleteLot of color. I like color
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Thanks Dora, colour is good!
DeleteThat's a beautiful face you gave us for FFO. I like her hair and her expressive eyes. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteI loved the mother's love for her child (the polar bears). That stole my heart and even worse that their habitats are being threatened daily.
Not sure you saw, but I left you a comment on your previous post, but I don't see it. If you don't find it in spam, I will write another.
Thanks Elizabeth, lots of animals treat their offspring better than people treat theirs! There was no comment in spam, Bl*gger is playing up again! Hugs!
DeleteBeautiful colourful painting. Lovely photos and fun thinkies
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, enjoy your weekend!
DeleteBeautiful lady. Love the cuddly polar bears.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, those bears tugged at my heart strings!
Delete...always let your light shine.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, I'm doing my best!
DeleteWhat a beauty! It's always good to have a new woman in my life, so thank you, Valerie. I take it as a good sign that you have mustered the will and the energy to apply your creative flair once again. The paints by the window are a wistful touch and I hope that they represent an augury of renewed vigour and big-haired beauties with long necks. The prospect of several more weeks in the clinic is probably both disagreeable and comforting, but doubtless a wise decision. It's where you need to be right now. Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteThanks David, glad you appreciate my ladies. I'm happy to be here just now, the various therapies are good - and lots of art and music, too! Have a great weekend, big hugs, Valerie xxx
DeleteEine wunderschönes fantasievolle Kunstseite liebe Valerie! Toll dein Posting mit den Sprüchen und Fotos!
ReplyDeleteEs ist gut dass du noch dort bleibst so kannst du dich richitg erholen,,,
Lieben Gruss Elke
Vielen Dank, liebe Elke! Ja, ich brauche die Erholung, das letzte Jahr war schwer! Dir alles Liebe!
DeleteI love your painting - her hair/headdress reminds me of one of my quilted faces. I may borrow some ideas from this one.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome to any ideas you find! Happy weekend!
DeleteWhat a great face. That’s such a fun way to do her “hair”. The colors really caught my eye, and I think hair or a hat like that would be amazing to have. Hope life at the clinic is going well. Have a wonderful start to your weekend. Hugs Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erica, I would love hair like that! The clinic does me good, the staff are all great, and most of the patients are nice. Hugs!
DeleteThis is filled with such color and joy! I'm sorry you're still at the clinic and hope that things are progressing well. My favorite photo in the post was seeing your palette and paints on the window sill. What a lovely view.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love standing there and painting, the beautiful view is inspiring. I get woken up by crows who evidently love crowing - what else?!
DeleteThat is so pretty. One of the best faces you've done so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, glad you like my lady. And thanks for the nice comments you always leave, much appreciated!
DeleteBeautiful painting, I love the bright colours. Hope that things improve and you get home soon. Hugs Anesha

The funnies are great too. I am so happy you get good care where you are and hope you will be home very soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole. I am being very well looked after, it's just a small clinic with a maximum of 24 patients, so it's a good place to recover! Hugs!

DeleteBeautiful lady with a gorgeous headless, Valerie! Don't worry about replying to my comments. It's not necessary. Besides I'm catching up after traveling and some health issues. As I'm working backwards I understand that you are in a clinic. I hope that you are receiving good care and improving! Hugs to you!
