Weekend post

Hi Everybody!

It's been a cold, grey and rainy day today, but we badly need the rain, so I'm not complaining, especially as we had a sunny day yesterday.
For Joan's challenge 'Tic tac toe' at Tag Tuesday I have another tag, this time using the bottom row of the grid, stenciling (cat and mouse), punch (corners) and ribbon at the top, and all done digitally - it's fun playing with a digital airbrush for the stenciling. The background is hand-painted:

Yesterday was cold but sunny, and I enjoyed an extra walk along the Rhine just before the sun went down:

And of the way back home I passed by the 'winter-village', our little Christmas market:

My fave booth - Reibekuchen!

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. Hi Val, I love your fun tag, my little'un has been singing the song with me. I can't imagine how to create it digitally, but you've done a great job. Wonderful photos from the sunset and Christmas market. Did you have any Reibekuchen? I made some today. Have a great evening, hugs, Sarah

  4. I adore the tag. Who wouldn't love seeing a cat play with a mouse. It is adorable.

The Christmas market is something we don't get here, so I was thrilled to see what they have to offer in your town. Wonderful photos of all those goodies. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, dear.

  5. If only cats and mice would play nicely together, its a great tag.
The photos over the Rhine looked beautiful and so did the ones of your market.
Its very cold and wet here as well, staying in days as I am still coughing and sneezing.
    Have a good weekend.

  11. I love the kitty-she is a huntress and queen, isn't she? And I always find these Christmas market fascinating. We don't have them here but one day I would like to visit one. And beautiful sunsets too. We had a nice "winter" day today. Warmer but still hat and jacket weather. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika

  12. Love your tag especially the black cat and the crown is so fitting. The setting sun along the Rhine gives the landscape a magical glow. The Christmas market looks like so much fun. Nothing like that here.

    1. It's easy if you know how, but it still sometimes takes longer than making things by hand. But I enjoy the process!
