Hi Everybody!
It's still freezing cold here, and I suppose we have all had enough of the cold and snow. I did an afternoon escape yesterday - I wrapped myself in a fluffy, white blanket, curled up in my fave armchair and took a trip to sunny Australia in the 1920s - in other words I binge-watched Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries all afternoon. And to keep up my strength I had tortellinis in cream sauce, sprinkled with lots of fresh Parmesan cheese....yummy!
Recently I have been making more scrapbook pages using old family photos. This one includes photos of Emily, my mum and Erika:
The photos here were also taken on this date one year back:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
This is a beautiful scrapbook page. I adore the photos and always love seeing Erika, since I have one of her, too.
ReplyDeleteI saw Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries several years ago. I also binge watched them. It was a fun series and was sad to see the last of them. Glad you enjoyed them, too. Clean mystery fun, in my opinion. No unnecessary sex or excessive violence. Hope today goes well for you.
STUNNING just love this journal page and pics of your family. Pretty flowers too. Gorgeous photos too and hope you day is good.xx đź’– [Aussie aNNie's Blog]

ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like treating yourself to a day in front of the TV watching favourite films or series. Glad you had your snacks all planned, I could do with a day just like this!! Your scrapbook page is a great way to share the love of family Valerie, so delightful with its flourishes and framed imagery.

ReplyDeleteLovely page. I love the colors, flowers, and butterflies. Wishing for all of those. Great photo of the heron getting a foot massage as the water rushes over his feet. Pictures of the seagulls waiting for the ferry just make me smile.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Miss Fisher murder mysteries, but they sound pretty good to me! Nice way to enjoy a late winter day that seems more like early winter. :) Loving your scrapbook page today. I really like how you used photos from different times rather than just a days event photo. It's a very pretty page! And you got some great bird photos last year, and I enjoyed seeing them again. Hope it warms up soon. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like my kind of binge watch! Fabulous birds today, Valerie -- and I always love it when you use your family photos as inspiration. This is lovely.

Great idea to stay snug and warm in this weather Valerie. Sounds like you had a great afternoon too - although I've not heard of those murder mysteries.

The rushing water and the birds seem so beautiful, an the colors on your scrapbook pages look so bright. Nothing wrong at all with curling up and staying warm with movies and tv shows. I did a little bit of that myself this weekend! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteThat background in your piece is just so soft and warm. It makes me feel good.
