Hi you all!
Well, actually, the only crowns I have are dental ones, without jewels, but never mind!
The challenge over at Out of a Hat this week is 'jewel in the crown', and here is my card:
The background has been stamped using various stamps from LaBlanche, and then the lion and window were stamped twice and fussy cut to make them pop a bit.
And someone is behind the window, watching....
Have a good day you all, take care, and thanks for coming by!
Lovely card, and I love your sense of humour, with Lizzie looking out of the window! Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous! I love your attention to detail. That window is pretty amazing!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Queen is eyeing the lions crown, maybe she likes his better since his is gold! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina where you are appreciated for stopping by! ♥
ReplyDeleteYou reminded me that I need to be crowned and I don't mean as a Queen! I do love that sentiment you used with the lion! I do love how you put it all together with such a fun vibe! Hope you are enjoying the week! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card. I spied Lizzie right away - one of her coronation pics .. yes? Love everything about it. Still no mail! hugs, donna
ReplyDeletevery nice piece!
ReplyDeleteThis is superb Valerie and very up to the minute. I watched the Queen on telly yesterday at Westminster Abbey for her celebration of 60years since she was crowned.
ReplyDeleteA real fun card and just right for thr challenge at the Hatters this week
Love Chrissie xxx
Very imaginative Valerie :) love the combination of elements

Oooh I love this Valerie, you can always pick out a La Blanche stamp can't you. So, is the queen just looking out of the window, or is she locked in the tower lol xx
ReplyDeleteShe is in her ivory tower surveying her realm and keeping an eye out for competition!
ReplyDeleteI know Lions are regal but this one has definitely let is got to her head!! Great card - really cleverly put together. x
ReplyDeleteLove your card Val, very appropriate for the 60th Anniversary. I love how you fussy cut the lion and window.
