What makes me happy #3 - going green

Hi Everybody!

Hope your week is going well! Today I have another face to show you, but I will try to do something else in between! I am linking to Matilde's challenge at AJJ.This lady is in green, and I don't know why - it's not my fave colour, I am just trying the effects of working with limited colour palettes:

Some photos taken at the beginning of the year, I mislaid the file!

Sorry, I have no thinkies and funnies today, Chrome seems to be having hissy fits and is not cooperating!

But I do have another tag for my challenge - colours - at Tag Tuesday, this time in neutral colours:

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. Another stunning lady. I can see why she would make you happy. She has a lovely and colorful green and blue face, which is perfect for Matilde's theme at Art Journal Journey. That's a nice tag of Leonardo, too.

  2. Hi Val, good afternoon! I 💕 love your green 💚 lady, she's gorgeous, and she's got a glint in her eye! As far as I'm concerned you can show faces every day! It's dry and sunny today, but still cold. Okay, it could be worse! Hugs from us all, Sarah

  6. Hey, I'm currently reading a bio of Leonardo. The sky pics are gorgeous. Is that a white owl? Love the green lady. She has a warmth to her. You manage to do the most expressive faces. Hope you are feeling better. Hugs Sandra sandracox.blogspot.com

  8. Perhaps the green lady is Mother Nature. We tend to think of her as an old lady, but perhaps she is timeless and never loses her youth. But as I think about it, it can’t be Mother Nature or she would be shedding copious tears in reaction to what we have done to all that she has bestowed upon us. If she gets mad and inflicts more droughts, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, tempests, floods and all manner of pestilence we have only ourselves to blame. That’s the way it is! Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Mother Nature must be devastated to see what people are doing with her world, and the destruction has no end. Have a great day in so if it all, hugs xxxxxxx

  11. I love your green lady. She might be like the green man, or perhaps she gets jealous easily, although she doesn't look someone who would. And nice tag too. And I'm glad you found that file so I could see the snowy owl. Cool sky views too. I hope your week is going well. hugs-Erika

  15. You always capture such neat sky photos — I wonder if your skies are more dramatic and colorful than the ones I see here at home.

  18. I am not a fan of green either but put some blue with it and I am there. Nevertheless I enjoy seeing green in others work and this lady is just another one of your faces that I thoroughly enjoy.
The sky photos are beautiful, I love how you have captured the different moods of the atmosphere and in particular the fifth one down with the pink so predominantly in it. Can you explain the yellow wiggly line that appears in it? Was it there or did your camera pick up something that the naked eye didn't.
Just beautiful photos and the tag to end your post is lovely.
    Hugs, Neet xx

    1. Thanks Neet. We are near the airport and there are often contrails in the sky, which dissolve after some time, and I think that's what gave me those lovely little extras in my photos. Sometimes the trails are huge, sometimes as they are here in the pics. Glad you like my green-blue striped lady, I think I shocked myself with her, but I want to try more colours soon!! Hugs, Valerie
