Weekend Post - what makes me happy # 5

Hi Everybody!

Well, painting always makes me happy, and here I have put together a colage from various pieces I have painted or stamped, with a few added images. I am, of course, linking to Matilde's 'what makes me happy' challenge at AJJ:

    So many birds in this post, Valerie! I am quite sure that this will be the all time favourite post with all your dedicated followers, crafters, sewists, page-makers, artists, paint smooshers, twinkle stickers, tag creators and their ilk. They will all be heading out the door to buy binoculars and funny hats to begin their career as bird watchers. You have created a movement. I think you will need to create a new challenge too. People will need to share their sightings and photographs and pictures of their rarities. There will no longer be room for David Zinn, unless he starts to specialize in birds too. I’d love to see what he comes up with. Birds most of us have never seen, I can be sure of that. A new day had dawned, Valerie. And it’s all because of you. Hugs and kisses - David

      Hi David, dont worry, I am not trying to become a bird woman, I just enjoy watching my little feathered friends, but apart from that, I WILL STICK TO MY PAINTING. Ooops, didn't mean to use caps. I went shopping today with Heike and then we went for a delicious barley soup at our fave cafe, very nice. now it's feet up time.     Such a passion for purple! The colour acts as a frame around a large stone tablet and incorporates many figures each having a part of life as it is today. I think this has a lot of deep thinking behind it and is the kind of picture that you could sit and stare entranced at for hours were it in a gallery.
    Great funnies etc and your bird photos are wonderful.
