Hi Everybody!
This will be another short post, my mouse has 'died' on me and I do not get on well without it!
I have an 'Inspired by' piece for AJJ, this time I was thinking about families. I used photos from my Mother and me.
And some photos from today's walk:
Today was market day:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
That page is beautiful Valerie. I love your spring flowers and colors you chose for it, and of course, you and your mother are so cute in those childhood photos. And you walk photos are also full of spring. Hope you get the mouse situation fixed. I like using one also. Have a wonderful middle of your week. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. I couldn't remember how things work without the mouse, so needed ages for the post. I will buy a new one today! Have a great day!
DeleteYour page is really gorgeous Valerie. I'm so sorry about your mouse. That happened to me a few months ago and I couldn't function without it - seriously! What a beautiful collection of spring photos. I hope you are recovering well. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha! I'm glad I'm not the only one who's stuck without the mouse. I'm feeling good, today I get my first vaccination.
DeleteLovely page, gorgeous tulips and photos. So sorry about your mouse.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine. I will get a new one today! Have a great day!
Deletewowowow Love this pages and your post. xxx

DeleteHi Val, good morning. It's hard without a mouse, I experienced this recently and had completely forgotten ho to do things without! Hope you get a new one today. Beautiful page, lovely photos of you and your mum! Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah. We get so used to these things, how did we manage before the days of mouse?! Hugs to you all!
DeleteThanks Laurie, we get so used to having these gadgets, it's hard without! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI don't use a mouse, but my touch pad is very touchy! Isn't it grand to be getting out and about in the fresh air again? Winter was longer than ever, I'm sure. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteIndeed, touch-pads are very touchy, especially when you have shaky hands like I do! Hae a wonderful day!
DeleteOhne Maus ist nicht einfach... schön dich und deine Mutter in diesem wundervollen Blumenrahmen zu sehen!
ReplyDeleteSchön der Marktag bei dir und die Sonne scheint so schön... das tut allen gut!
Liebe Umarmung Elke
Danke, liebe Elke! Markttag ist immer schön. Heute scheint die Sonne auch!

ReplyDeleteSpring is beautiful, I am delighted with your photos and your work. Have a nice day:)
Thanks so much Lucyna, have a great day, stay safe!
DeleteBeautiful page of memories.
ReplyDeleteThanks Teresa, have a great day! Hugs, Valerie
DeleteWho can even remember a time without a mouse? You had better get yourself another one pronto, Valerie, or your world will shrink around you! Actually my iPad is slowly dying. I feel like I am watching a terminal patient slowly succumb, and I intend to get a new one. I'd like to buy it at the local Apple store, however, since they set the whole thing up for you, but our arch enemy COVID means that the store is closed at present so I will have to wait until lockdown ends. At least your mouse will not be expensive. Your views around town are delightful and the sun seems to have been shining on you. We were supposed to receive a little snow overnight if you can believe that. I refuse to look outside! It is mid week, hump day. There was a time when I was still working that would have been significant, but now one day is the same as the next. Take care. Stay safe. I hope your new mouse will be squeaking soon! Hugs and kisses, David.
ReplyDeleteExactly, we get used to things and can't do without them.I have ordered a new one from Amazon. Sorry about your Ipad, sooner or later new ones are necessary. We have had lots of sunny intervals this week. Soon I have to make my way to the vaccination centre at the Arena here. No sport of football there just now! The weather must be crazy if you got snow again. Have a great day, stay safe and well, hugs to you both!
DeleteJust love your beautiful layout. The layers all work so beautifully together. Have a great day. Hugs Anesha
ReplyDeleteThanks Anesha, have a wonderful day!
DeleteThis is a lovely art piece. It feels like spring. I also love your photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole, have a great day!

Deletei feel spring in those photos;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy, spring is coming!
Deletefinally:D
DeleteYes! Enjoy!
DeleteI love your market day. I long for those again! And another lovely art piece. Good luck with the mouse. I have the same relationship with mine -- so much better than the laptop keyboard!
ReplyDeleteMarket day is always fun. My new mouse should be here tomorrow!
DeleteA beautiful page, and wonderful photos of your walk Valerie.
ReplyDeleteHappy midweek,
Alison xx
Thanks Alison, have a great day!
DeleteGorgeous page Valerie and adorable pictures of you and your mom! Sorry about your mouse, I hope you get a new one soon... I need my mouse too! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Tammy
Thanks Tammy, we all need our 'mice'. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
DeleteI love my mouse too! I totally understand! Love your banner! So cute! Your art piece is meaningful! So beautiful! Truly loving your pictures! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacy, glad you are also a mouse fan! Have a great week!
Delete❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks Regine! Have a great week!
DeleteI can't believe I missed this post, dear. It was truly an oversight. I am having troubles with both my mouse and keyboard. They only work in a very specific spot. Move the keyboard and the mouse has to be placed in a certain spot for the words to come. Scott got frustrated the last time he was here. He said that would be my birthday present. I hope they are wireless, though. Knowing Scott, he would rather be wired and tied down.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the beauty you shared with us for your journal entry. Childhood memories are wonderful. And you got some great photos of the market and your town, too. LOVED the chickens. Thanks for yet another entry honoring Eileen's theme at Art Journal Journey, dear.
Thanks E! Happy Birthday! I like to be free, too, but Scott is right, the wired way is better and safer!
DeleteVery interesting photos;) have a nice day;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Martyna, have a great day!
DeleteYour journal page is stunning Valerie, beautifully done! There is no way I can use my chromebook without a mouse - it has one of those scrolling things but it needs a much lighter touch than mine lol. Have a great day xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue. Most people seem to prefer to use a mouse. Have a great week!
DeleteNice baby photos! I like your charming environment.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Babies are always pretty!
DeleteThat piece would be purrfect for Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteMarket Day looks like fun.
Hope you are bouncing with energy.
Hugs
Thanks Sandra! Not quote bouncing yet, but I'm getting there!
DeleteWhat a soft and lovely family art piece, I love it. Your photos are also so lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa, much appreciated. Great to see you around again!
DeleteSuch a pretty page! The pastel colours and images look so amazing and it's a lovely way to remember family too - perfect 😁. So many gorgeous photos but those metal chickens caught my eye, what a delight - cluck, cluck, cluck! Take care and happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo. Those metal chickens caught my eye, too, but were too expensive. Stil, I've got a photo of them! Happy weekend, cluck, cluck!
DeleteOh dear, I am so glad I am not the only one who does not like the 'pad' thing on the computer - I need a mouse. I hope you get it fixed or a new one before too long. I have two so that as soon as one runs out it can go on charge and I can use the other one.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty journal page. I do like the way you have put the photograph at an angle and then framed it with those pretty blooms. Such pretty pastel shades too.
Thank you for the walk again, I do enjoy your photographs, you are a very accomplished photographer.
Hugs, Neet x
Thanks Neet. I need my mouse. I now have a new one from Amazon, so I'm happy again! It's always good to try for new angles! Glad you like the pics, too. Have a great day!
DeleteA lovely page and great selection of photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
PS Pleased you now have a new mouse, I don't like being without one!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I love how you framed those photos - beautiful pastels! Great photos - the market made me sigh! Our monthly market stopped running last year - I hope it comes back in the Summer! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris! Mostly I like vibrant colours, but sometimes pastels are more suitable! Have a great day!
