Hi Everybody!
Here's wishing you all a great weekend, and a wonderful loooong weekend if you live in England!
It's warmed up considerably here, but still nothing like it was a few weeks back, so I'm hoping it won't be too-hot-to-move-or-sleep hot again.
I have 2 more tags that I made for Tag Tuesday, very simple ones, just what I would call construction tags as they are just made up of bits and pieces from my stash and fixed together with some sewing - very quick and very easy. I will be using them as birthday greetings for friends. For the masculine one I used some images from Hunkydory, and the feminine outfit - maker unknown- has been sewn onto some recycled card:
The text reads 'with love and best wishes':
Yesterday I was out and about with Nathalie again, and she made some (not very realistic) photos with the snapchat app on her phone - how to look young and beautiful again without even trying:
We went to Südpark (South park) where we had a midday snack and then visited some of the animals at the farm there and met up with some strange folk:
The flower garden was looking good:
The goats were playful and friendly, as always:
Doris and Heike, the piggy ladies, were enjoying their midday sleep and did not let themselves be disturbed:
Here are some photos from a previous visit which show them without a muddy coat:
That's all for today, it's time to get moving!
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Hi Valerie wow great new header, love it.
ReplyDeleteWell done on your beautiful tags, both very interesting, love your pics and nice to see you having so much fun xx
Hi Val, good morning. It looks like it's going to be another very hot day here again. Love the fun tags, and I can imagine who's getting the one with the whiskers! Love the photos. Glad you and N are having fun just now. Südpark is always lovely, the kids used to love it there, especially the goats and pigs. Have a fun day, we're off to my mum's, as usual. Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeletePretty ladies, pretty post and pretty photos, eeer well the piggies are almost there with their mud packs on.xx
ReplyDeleteYes, mud packs are good for the skin!
DeleteSomehow, I don't find those tags "SIMPLE." They are both beautiful and unique. Both are so different, too. I love the sewing, which adds so much interest.
ReplyDeleteThe photos from South Park with the goats and pigs made me smile. Those pigs are adorable, and you and Nathalie must have had a wonderful time, too. Enjoy your weekend and have fun on your walks. It's too hot here to walk, even early in the morning, when it's actually time for me to head to bed.
Love those photos abd tags are as always so creative, love those ideas☺
ReplyDeleteLOVE your feminine card
ReplyDeleteLovely happy photos from your walk Valerie.
ReplyDeleteThe tags look awesome, its a super masculine themed one.
Have a good weekend.
Yvonne xx
Your tags are lovely, and I'm sure your friends will love receiving them. Looks like you had a nice time at the park with your friend. Beautiful flowers. The piggies look quite content. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteI adore the friends sitting on the bench! The flowers are still looking good, and the animals look like fun to see. Goats are always busy lol
ReplyDeleteHi Valerie!
ReplyDeleteI do hope that your weather stays comfortable and doesn't get to warm again.
Love these beautiful tags...fantastic!!!
Your enhanced photos of you and Nathalie are fantastic! You look like a couple of young princess fairies :)
I love all of your gorgeous flower photos and even the pigs in the mud :)
Big HugsX
I like the thought of being a princess fairy, but would have to go back at least 50 years to get there!
DeleteI love your masculine and feminine tag pair - both so elegant and streamlined. I find the whole Snapchat filter thing really spooky, but maybe that's just me. Love the close-ups of the flowers - wow! - and the pig photos made me smile.
ReplyDeleteAlison x
Snapchat IS spooky. An old lady gets her photo taken and is taken back in time 50 years and more. Scary, but fun at the same time, and the kids all seem to love it.
DeleteI love your tags Valerie, both so stylish and the masculine one is great fun. What fab pictures today, I think I shall have to get that filter for myself lol. Have a great weekend, Sue x
ReplyDeleteThose filters are good, but then you look in the mirror and see that a wrinkly old hag has taken the place of the beauty who was there before....
