Hi Everybody!
Today we are starting a new challenge at More Mixed Media. As always, our challenges are anything goes, this time with optional white. Hope to see YOU there!
I made a mixed media Hanukkah piece in my journal. The snow was made with structure paste and some glitter. The sky was painted with acrylics over a textured and gessoed background. The candles were recycled from a card and fussy cut:
And I have a second piece on an A3 page. The background was gessoed, stenciled, collaged etc. I added some fabric scraps and did some sewing:
I am also linking to Paint Party Friday hosted by Eva and Kristin.
And some sky pictures taken these past days:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Hello Valerie, it was lovely seeing your mixed media pieces - the background on the first really sets the scene. I love the quote on your second... it is so true, the eyes convey so much more than perhaps the words that are being uttered. You've created a beautiful page :D)

ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous sky views. The pinks and then the puffy clouds against the blue. Beautiful. An every changing picture. :)
